Seeing him play recently, I see him looking fit, fresh and strong. We know he’s an obvious talent so it’s great. If he can keep that up hopefully through the season, and if he can get back to where he was and more, then I’ll be very happy and he’ll come back as our player, for sure.

Fulham were hugely impressive at times against Spurs on Wednesday, with Ademola Lookman particular impressive when he came off the bench. The absence of Ruben Loftus-Cheek (due to him being on loan from Chelsea) means there’s a start for Lookman, and you’d back him to give the Chelsea full-backs some tough moments.
Chelsea will certainly be targeting this game as a chance to turn their season around. Lampard’s side have won just one of the last six to slip not just away from the title chase but also slightly out of touch with the chasing pack. It’s a strange season though, with so many fluctuations in form likely still to come, so it’s still early enough for Lampard to rescue things.
It’s been a strange week for Scott Parker’s Fulham. This game had originally been scheduled to be played on Friday night, but the shoehorning in of the Spurs fixture on Wednesday saw it moved by a day to at least give Fulham some time to prepare. You’d imagine Parker would have much preferred a full week to work on a plan, yet the confidence his side will have gained from the draw against Spurs may turn out to be just as important.
Frank Lampard's Chelsea XI raises some interesting questions, not least about the players he's left on the bench...
Here's the Fulham team, with the notable change being Lookman in and Loftus-Cheek out.
