Evans lumps a hopeful one forward and Ward misses it, climing all over Ndidi as Maddison nips in behind, lashing across the face; no one's there to tap in but the angle was too narrow to shoot.

Leicester are playing better now, their attackers gambling and taking men on, while others run in behind. Thomas, who's getting more and more of the ball, nips inside Milivojevic, who pulls him down, but Maddison's free-kick is poor.

Fofana steps out and feeds Maddison, who sends Thomas away down the left. But his cross is poor, and Palace clear via goalkick.

Leicester have been a little better these last few minutes, but the attacking cohesion is lacking at the moment.

Better from Leicester, Maddison hitting the line and cutting back for Iheanacho who, back to goal, tees up Ndidi. He needs to put his foot through it, but instead of so doing he sidefoots a tame finish that Van Aanholt blocks easily.

Another left-wing Tielemans corner that Dann inadvertently flicks on at the near post for Evans to nod down at the far ... for Soyuncu! But with Benteke charging in to close down, he absolutely leather his shot over the bar. That was as good a chance as Leicester have made tonight, and it wasn't a great one.

Nice from Leicester, a couple of quick passes in midfield allowing Ndidi to spread to Thomas, but with no winger outside him he has to move the ball back infield and Palace close down the spaces well. That's a nice little microcosm of the match so far.

This has been very impressive from Palace so far. They're doing a good job of accentuating the weaknesses of 3-5-2, getting around Leicester in attack and funnelling them infield in defence.

Maddison plays a hopeful one infield but Iheanacho does well to turn on it ... before Milivojevic heaves in to rob him. Iheanacho felt that and spends a little time sitting down before getting up gingerly.

Leicester win another left-wing corner but this time Tielemans' delivery is poor, picking out Guaita who catches cleanly.

Evans finds Castagne with a nice little pass and the ball moves on to Iheanacho, wide right, but his cross hits the nearest body and Palace clear.

CAastagne misjudges the bounce of the ball but when it arrives at Benteke, Soyuncu blokcs his shot.

Leicester, on the other hand, need to get Maddson on the ball, and are really missing the width they get from the electric Harvey Barnes.

Palace are disappearing time nicely here.

Leicester win a corner down the left which Tielemans goes over to take, picking out Evans in the middle of the box; it's a pretty good chance actually, but the header is directed wide before the ref decides that Dann was fouled to make it possible. Looked six of one to me.

Tielemans finds a good out-ball to Iheanacho, but when it arrives at Maddison, Dan blocks his shot.

Free-kick Leicester, 25 yards out but quite far right; Tielemans curls over the wall towards the near post, but it's an easy save for Guaita.

Riedewald intercepts a pass from Tielemans, but Milivojevic has to dive in to get hold of the loose ball and when he doesn't, Riedewald has another go, scything through Tielemans to earn a well-deserved yellow card.
