Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of the Premier League clash between Man City and Leicester at Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola has been lamenting having a lack of players available for this contest, so it'll be interesting to see how the hosts line up. Meanwhile, the Foxes have won from two in the league so far and will be aiming to maintain their promising start by taking advantage if possible. Kick off 16:30 BST.

CAN LEICESTER FIND A FIRST-HALF ANSWER? The Citizens have led by two or more goals at half-time in their last six Premier League matches, a record run in the competition's history. It's been all Man City so far though. Leicester are trapped inside their own half.

That was some strike from Mahrez. Leicester fans used to love him.... That's no way to treat your old team!

HOME COMFORTS: Guardiola’s men are unbeaten in 11 PL home matches (winning 10). Indeed, City have won their last seven fixtures at the Etihad Stadium by an aggregate score of 26-1.

HEAD-TO-HEAD: Manchester City have won six of the last seven PL meetings and it’s fair to say the Foxes haven’t enjoyed trips to the Etihad of late. They have lost four on the bounce at this stadium. That’s their worst losing run at Man City since a five-game sequence leading up to 1961.

BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE? Kevin De Bruyne has scored seven goals and set up six in his past 10 league starts.

DID YOU KNOW? Jamie Vardy has scored five goals in his past eight PL outings against Manchester City. He's also the only player to score a top-flight treble versus a team managed by Guardiola ( in Leicester's 4-2 win v Man City in December 2016).

Mahrezon the Citizens' quest to win back the title: "We weren't good enough to win it last season, and now we know what we can improve on to try to be there at the end of the year. I think we have a very good squad and a very good team. I think it's all about consistency and focus and we'll be there at the end."

Brendan Rodgers on Man City's (supposedly) weakened squad: “You are working with the players you have and will always be looking to go out to get a good performance and result. They are a top-level side and whatever happens, they are still top-class. We are playing against one of the top teams in Europe. It is a difficult game for us.”

Pep Guardiola: "The champion will again have more than 90 points, and before that didn't happen quite often. And it will be the fourth season in a row where it takes more than 90 points, or close to 100 points, to be champion.“

It's two changes for the Foxes too. As expected, Wilfred Ndidi, misses out through injury, but the visitors are buoyed by the return of Jonny Evans in his place. Daniel Amartey replaces Ayoze Perez with James Maddison still on the bench.

Man City make two changes from the 3-1 triumph at Wolves. Riyad Mahrez comes in for the injured Gabriel Jesus while Eric Garcia replaces John Stones. It's still a pretty strong City side despite Guardiola's pre-match concerns. He'll also be happy to have Aymeric Laporte and Oleks Zinchenko on a bench that does include a few youngsters.
