Jose Mourinho will be desperate for his side to pick up a much-needed victory after three straight league defeats, while Sam Allardyce knows the Baggies are running out of games to launch a realistic bid for survival. The Midlands outfit have picked up just one victory in their past 14 visits to Tottenham in all competitions (D6, L7). Mourinho on Kane's return to the Spurs side: "We had immediately good news after the injury, knowing it was not as difficult as initially feared. He recovered very, very well. He's confident and feels absolutely fine and, of course, he's a fundamental player for us."

There's no Dele Alli for Tottenham. Mourinho says they now have common ground, so it'll be interesting to see if we do get a 'good Dele Alli' (in Jose's words) in the weeks and months ahead.

Super Son will no doubt be delighted to be back in tandem with a certain Mr Kane today. Will the South Korean star continue his love of facing newly promoted sides?

Mourinho: "I put pressure on myself every day. I don’t need others to put pressure on me. I put pressure on myself every day. Every day. So since 2012 without three defeats in a row? But since when without a title? Maybe I can give one.”

Sam Allardyce on facing old foe, Jose: "Sometimes when you're the underdog and it pays off there's some obvious delight in that. But the big thing is not what I'm doing against Jose, or what Jose's doing against me. The big thing is the concentration of the team and getting a result, that's the ultimate focus and saying to the players this is the best way.”

The transfer window may have shut, but the rumour mill never stops! Amongst this week's Euro Papers videos, Spurs have been linked with an ex-Arsenal man.

Hugo Loris: “It’s been three games in a row with the taste of defeat, but I think we are close to being back. We have to bring consistency into our performances.”

Maitland-Niles: “We’re in a tough situation at the moment. I wanted to be a part of the fight. I wanted to grit my teeth and get down and dirty and see I come out of it. I want to come out on top of it and I want the club to come out on top of it. Hopefully I’m a player who can help this club survive in the Premier League.”

So, Kane's early return is a MASSIVE boost for Spurs. Meanwhile, WBA make five changes with Ainsley Maitland-Niles making his bow following his loan move from Arsenal. Romaine Sawyers, Karlan Grant, Conor Gallagher and Lee Peltier also feature while another loan recruit, Okay Yokuslu will hope to make an appearance from the bench.
