Exciting times at Wolves. In Semedo and Adama Traore, they have some serious speed in their team.

Fifteen minutes until kick-off here at the London Stadium, so here's another stat: West Ham have lost each of their opening three league matches in two of the last three seasons (2017-18 and 2018-19). They'd only lost their first three games in two of their previous 45 league campaigns prior to this.

West Ham United have lost each of their last four Premier League meetings with Wolves without scoring a single goal; the Hammers' last win over them in the competition was back on New Year's Day 2011 (2-0). The omens don't look good for the Hammers...
18:30
Wolves have three points from their first two games, losing to Manchester City after winning at Sheffield United in their opener. They have since strengthened their squad with the signing of Semedo, who comes straight into the team tonight. No Europa League football for Wolves this season, which may be a blessing. This is a squad with real potential and could push the top six.
18:25
Moyes: "Alan Irvine and the rest of the staff will be in direct control from their positions in London Stadium but I will certainly be in close and continuous contact by telephone."
18:20
West Ham have recorded two convincing victories in the Carabao Cup, but that can't detract from how poor they have started in the Premier League. They were much improved at Arsenal last weekend after an embarrassing opening day defeat to Newcastle, and yet they still haven't registered a point. Today is a difficult game for the Hammers, but they need something.
18:15
Wolves make two changes from the side that lost 3-1 to Manchester City. Nelson Semedo makes his debut after signing from Barcelona and Ruben Vinagre also comes into the side, as Marcal drops to the bench and Daniel Podence drops out of the squad altogether.
18:10
West Ham make just one change from the side that lost 2-1 to Arsenal last week, with Issa Diop, who is self-isolating, replaced by Fabian Balbuena in defence. Mark Noble has recovered from injury and features on the bench.
