FULL-TIME: Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 Crystal Palace
An electric first-half performance from Wolves put Palace on the back foot early and despite the Eagles creating slightly more chances in the second half they still never looked like scoring. Even though Wolves perhaps took their foot off the gas, the score line does not really do their performance justice.

AND HE'S OFF! Sizeable delay as VAR checks whether Martin Atkinson should have shown Milivojevic a red card for his studs-up challenge on Moutinho and he goes over to the monitor to take a closer look at it.
After doing so, he rightfully sends off the Crystal Palace captain for what was a very dangerous tackle.

Moutinho looks in plenty of pain on the turf and Palace use the delay to make a substitution, bringing on Benteke for his international teammate Batshuayi to give them more energy up top.

Milivojevic crashes into Moutinho with an awful, reckless tackle. The referee waves play-on, however, and Jimenez has the ball just outside the box. He lays off Traore, who has a degree of space inside the box and his shot is straight at Guaita.

Van Aanholt has a free-kick from around 25 yards out after Jimenez fouls Milivojevic. It sails over the bar and doesn't trouble Patricio.

Adama Traore joins Moutinho on the field in Wolves' second switch, as he replaces Podence. The newly capped Spain international was a key player last season, but has struggled to make an impact so far this season, thus having his role in the team reduced.

Double substitution for Wolves. The first sees Moutinho come on for Neto, which perhaps suggest a change of formation to a less attacking system.

Second change for Crystal Palace as Ayew comes on for Townsend. The Ghanaian attacker is back in the squad after having to self-isolate upon returning from international duty.

Jimenez makes a good run to beat both Dann and Kouyate. However, his eventual shot is tame and goes right into the hands of Guaita.

Eze comes on for Schlupp in what is probably a like-for-like substitution on the left wing. The Ghanaian offered very little today.

Yellow card for Zaha! He expresses his frustration at what he thought was a foul on him by Coady and a scuffle ensues, with him and Ait-Nouri squaring up to each other.

CLOSE!! Neto picks out Dendoncker at the far post with a deep cross, but his first time volley sails wide and it's a missed opportunity for Wolves to wrap up the game.

Palace finally starting to create more chances and have a greater impact on this game, as they have multiple shots blocked in the space of minutes - the latest being a Clyne half volley.

Milivojevic battles to win the ball in midfield and gets it to Zaha in the box. The Ivorian attacker does a few stepovers and drops his shoulder before Ait-Nouri slides in with a rough challenge.
There's a VAR check and it uphelds Martin Atkinson's decision to not give a penalty but you have seen those given...

CLOSE!! Big opportunity for Palace after the restart as a clearance from a Milivojevic free-kick falls to Townsend. He tests Patricio with a deflected volley from range but it's well saved.

Both teams greeted back onto the pitch by the fake crowd noise and the second half is underway!
Lots of praise for Podence and Ait-Nouri on social media! The former was really running the show for the Midlands outfit, with most attacks tending to go through him, while the young left-back was an engine going forward and scored a great debut goal to boot. Will be interesting to see if Palace can test him a bit more defensively in the second half though. Most of their attacks have been on the other side of the pitch.
