ARSENAL V LEICESTER: GUNNERS LOOKING TO RECLAIM TOP FOUR SPOT WITH VICTORY OVER LEICESTER IN PREMIER LEAGUE

It's all over at the Emirates! Arsenal have secured all three points which ensures they reclaim their place in the top four of the Premier League this evening. Partey's header and Lacazette's penalty did the job for the Gunners in front of a buoyant home crowd. Leicester were unable to create too many chances but when they did, they were denied by some brilliant goalkeeping. Job done for Arsenal while Leicester will focus their attention on their European exploits on Thursday.

The Arsenal goalkeeper was down briefly after taking a knock when coming to claim an aerial ball, which he won. He is back on his feet and launches the ball down field and away from his goal.

There will be five minutes of additional time at the Emirates, where Arsenal are just those five minutes away from reclaiming their place in the top four and taking back control of the race for Champions League football next season.

Tierney takes the armband as Lacazette makes way to the backdrop of a standing ovation from the Arsenal faithful. Nketiah is the man who comes on in his place for the final five minutes plus stoppage time.

Saka makes way for Pepe in Arsenal's second change of the evening. Another very good display from the young England star who is quickly becoming a household name at the Emirates.

Let's have a look back at the penalty from Lacazette which doubled Arsenal's lead just before the hour mark. Could this be the goal that sees the Gunners back into the top four?

The substitute is booked for a cynical foul on Saka as he raced away and towards the penalty area. Arsenal have a free-kick as a result, can they put the icing on the cake with a third goal?

The Frenchman makes no mistake from 12 yards and doubles Arsenal's lead in emphatic style, smashing the ball expertly into the top corner leaving Schmeichel with absolutely no chance!

After looking at the monitor, the referee adjudges Soyuncu to have handled the ball after Schmeichel's save and Arsenal have a penalty!

The Danish keeper comes to the rescue again with a fantastic save from point-blank range before Thomas clears the ball off the line to save the Foxes blushes. However, VAR is looking at a potential handball in that passage of play and an Arsenal penalty could be given.

Arsenal intercept the ball to thwart a Leicester attack and set off on the counter. Martinelli goes on a tricky run into the box, the ball comes out to Xhaka who picks out Saka and his effort is tipped away by Schmeichel, who is at full stretch to connect with that one.

The Gunners win an early free-kick from distance on the right-hand side, not too far from the technical areas, it's taken short and eventually falls the way of White whose flicked header trickles wide of the post.

Leicester get us going again with a big second half in store for both sides. A second goal for Arsenal would leave Leicester with a mountain to climb, but a goal for the Foxes would force the Gunners to step it up a gear. If Leicester can find the momentum they carried into the break, things could get interesting.

It was one way traffic for the opening half an hour as Arsenal raced into a one-goal lead thanks to Partey's header from a Martinelli corner. However, Leicester didn't lie down and were denied an equaliser by a fantastic save from Ramsdale. This game is one where a single goal doesn't feel like it will be enough.

There will be one minute of added time at the end of the first half as Arsenal look to protect the slender lead they have held since the 12th minute.
