After Liverpool brought their 10-game unbeaten run to an end last weekend, Arsenal are looking to return to winning ways as Eddie Howe's reign as Newcastle boss continues. FIVE minutes until kick-off at the Emirates! Can Arsenal bounce back and record a fourth straight home victory? Or will Newcastle win at Arsenal for the first time in a decade?

Since a 1-0 victory in November 2010, Newcastle have lost each of their last nine away league games against Arsenal, failing to score in each of the last five.

Howe is back on the touchline after missing his first game in charge last week - a 3-3 draw with Brentford - due to Covid-19. He has a big job on his hands at Newcastle, starting today.

Arteta: “After a defeat we want to play straight away in a different context. We are on a good run, we play at home, we will have our people right behind us and we are going to perform well. First of all, play as well as we can and then we will be closer to winning the match.”

Arsenal are odds on to record the victory that would bring them level on points with fourth-placed West Ham and inflict more misery on Newcastle, who are still without a win this season. The omens are on their side, too, as the Gunners have won 16 of their last 17 Premier League games against Newcastle, with the exception being a 2-1 away loss in April 2018.

Howe makes three changes from the side that drew 3-3 with Brentford. Martin Dubravka makes his first appearance of the season as he comes in for Karl Darlow. Emil Krafth comes in for Ciaran Clark and Ryan Fraser takes the place of Jacob Murphy.

Mikel Arteta makes one change from the side that lost 4-0 at Liverpool as Martin Odegaard comes in for his first start since October and replaces Alexandre Lacazette.
