CHANCE! Leicester should be ahead!
After some nice trickery from Barnes on the left hand edge of the box, the winger gets past Matty Cash and plays in Luke Thomas, who whips one into the centre, but Dewsbury-Hall can't get his header on target!

On the replay, it shows that Ezri Konsa nicked the final touch to take the ball in after Buendia's header. He may have been in an offside position - a potentially controversial incident!

GOALLL! Villa hit back from a set piece!
Luiz puts one into the box, and on the third ball, Buendia gets hold of one from Konsa's flick on and nods it into the far corner beyond Schmeichel! Konsa nicks the final touch!
After a stoppage to check VAR for a potential offside in the buildup, it is given! Daka is adjudged to be the last man and Konsa is onside.

GOALLL!!
Leicester take the lead!
A turnover in the centre of the pitch sees the Foxes 3 v 2 against Villa on the break, with Barnes, Maddison and Daka all running forwards. The Zambian receives the ball but almost plays himself into trouble on the turn, before recovering and putting it into the path of Barnes on his left.
He then slots it calmly into the far corner to give his side the lead. Good goal!

Jacob Ramsey plays the ball out to the right with Matty Cash in acres of space. The defender attempts to put in a ball - but it is too high and evades everyone.

A mistake from Tyrone Mings almost puts in Patson Daka but his effort does not trouble Martinez. The Zambian forward has definitely started this game with some intent.
8'
Harvey Barnes makes a great run on the left, and his centre is dealt with initially. The ball then finds its way to James Maddison outside the Villa box and he lets fly - but his shot from distance is blocked.
6'
Villa Park erupts into applause as both sets of fans pay tribute to Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, who tragically passed away. The players get the ball out to observe the stoppage. A nice moment.
5'
Douglas Luiz delivers one into the centre, and Kasper Schmeichel punches it away out of danger. The ball is recovered by the home side on the second phase but it comes to nothing and the Foxes have a goal kick.
4'
Villa have their first corner.
3'
Daka launches an effort from an acute angle on the right hand side into the near post but Martinez deals with it well.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Patson Daka make their first league starts for Leicester this afternoon.
Brendan Rodgers has also NEVER lost at Villa Park as a manager. An omen perhaps?
