Wide of the target! Brighton play the ball to the edge of the box for Moder to strike first time, but his effort flies wide of the target when he might have tested Ramsdale.

At left back, Tierney continues to be an important player for Arsenal. The Scotland international gives the Gunners width with Smith Rowe more likely to cut inside ahead of him.

Tomiyasu has made an instant impact at the Emirates Stadium since arriving from Bologna on transfer deadline day. The Japanese international is already a key figure at right back, but he’s had a tough game here!

Arteta hasn't made changes at the break. Arsenal were second best in the first half, so it wouldn't have been much of a surprise if a change or two had been made at half time.

The second half is under way! It's still goalless between Brighton and Arsenal in this Premier League fixture.

HALF TIME: Brighton 0-0 Arsenal. It's still goalless at the Amex Stadium, but there has been no shortage of entertainment. Brighton will be disappointed not to be ahead.

There will be one minute of stoppage time played at the end of the first half.

Arsenal have the ball forward and players up from the back, but the cross from Saka is far too strong and Brighton survive. Arteta needs to come up with something different at the break.

Cucurella has so much space on the left side of the pitch. Brighton have used him a lot as an out ball in this first half, but they could afford to use him even more frequently!

Arsenal might well have weathered the Brighton storm even if the real world storm is still lashing rain down on the Amex Stadium pitch. The conditions have been challenging.

Thomas shoots wide! Saka does well down the right side to create an opening, the ball is set back to the edge of the box for Thomas, but he shoots tamely wide. Had to do better.

Not far wide! Duffy gets on the end of a corner kick delivery to the back post, but the connection he makes isn't a clean one and the ball ends up in the side netting! Rather close!

Saka gives Arsenal such an effective outlet down the right wing. The England international has made that position his own this season. Saka also has a good final product. He's the only player in yellow playing well!

Cucurella has looked so dangerous down the left side for Brighton. This is the toughest test that Tomiyasu has had as an Arsenal player and is fortunately that the hosts haven't scored yet!

Dreadful attempt! Thomas lines up the freekick 25 yards out from goal and then only manages to find Row z. That was never going to find the back of the net. Really, really bad.

Arsenal might have to play periods of this match on the counter attack. Brighton are very good at controlling matches through the centre of the pitch. They know how to play, that’s for sure.

While Potter will be pleased with how his team are controlling this game, he will be concerned by how many chances they have spurned. That was the story of Brighton's season last term!

Maupay got the execution wrong! That was a tricky one for the Brighton striker to get right, but his overhead kick bounces wide of the target. Arsenal need to get a grip here!

Tomiyasu gets caught on the ball! Another good chance for the home side after Cucurella robs Tomiyasu of the ball. Brighton couldn't make the most of the situation, though.
