Maupay drives towards the box and unleashes a low drilled shot from around 25 yards that whistles just past the post with Alisson at full stretch.

POTTER ON FORM AGAINST THE REDS:
Brighton manager Graham Potter told BT Sport: "Those results [against Liverpool previously] give us a little bit of confidence and belief but we know it doesn't count too much. You have to earn the right.
"Liverpool have world-class players and they have done a fantastic job over the last few years so we're under no illusions but we have competed before and we have to do it again.
"Sometimes you have to go through these periods of pain in a season which we are doing now and we have to try and turn that around.
"Arguably they are one of the best teams in the world. So you know in every area they are strong - from the keeper to the forwards. We have to play well, be positive, aggressive and play to our strengths."

KLOPP ON THE TITLE RACE:
Jürgen Klopp has urged Liverpool to “write a special story” by becoming Premier League champions in a manner that can make them proud when they are old.
“We want to write a special story here, not only this year but in general,” he said.
“If you want to look back later in life on very successful times, you should give absolutely everything now. We have no time and no points to waste. We have to keep going, that is clear, and if there is any kind of momentum we should keep it and work with it.
“We cannot call it a title race because we are still behind but we have to win football matches but everybody is excited about having the opportunity to have a title race. So far the boys did really well and why should I think we can’t go on?”
