End of 2nd Half
90+2'
FULL-TIME: Brighton 2-0 Watford
A dominant win for the Seagulls, although they did slightly take their foot off the gas in a much less intense second half. After plenty of solid performances defensively last season they'll be relieved to have finally brought their shooting boots, although who knows how long that'll last. Bissouma was the standout performer with an all-round brilliant showing in midfield that'll make Arsenal fans think they took the wrong Brighton player!

March is the next Brighton player to be booked, as he picks up a card for time wasting.

Etebo takes aim from outside the area and Duffy is there to block it. Been a strong game from the Irish centre back who has previously been deemed surplus to requirements at the Amex.

Superb defensive header from Dunk to nestle the ball down for Sanchez after a menacing cross into the Brighton box.

Second sub for the Seagulls sees Zambian midfielder Enock Mwepu come on for Leandro Trossard. Mwepu was taken off at half-time on his Brighton debut last week, but now would be a good time to reintroduce himself to their fans.

CLOSE!! Cucho flicks the ball up and produces a looping effort that almost dips into the goal. Lovely piece of skill!
67'
King's first act is to play a simple pass into space for Dennis, who's flagged for being marginally offside. He hasn't heard the whistle though and proceeds to stick the ball in the back of the net anyway with his face being a picture of confusion when he finally realises he was off!
65'
It's a striker on for a defender as Watford continue to search for a way back into this game. Josh King is on for Craig Cathcart, as Watford revert to a back five with Sarr and Masina appearing to be wing-backs.

SAVED!! A rare bit of action from Watford as Sarr's flick-on finds Cleverley, whose low shot is kept out by Sanchez.
56'
Couple chances fall to Trossard. First one is bravely blocked by Kabasele and the second is well over the bar.
52'
CLOSE!! Connolly really should've put that one away. Gross darts a low pass into the box and the rebound falls to Connolly's feet but the Irish striker's powerful effort from close range is wide of the mark. Would've been game, set and match!
49'
CHANCE! Masina launches a cross from deep but Sarr, who's found himself in a central position in the box, can't angle his body correctly to produce a good enough header.
