It is the holy grail with the Old Firm when it comes to league titles, but it is a pretty handy record in any head-to-head and City can achieve this if they win at Goodison tonight.

It seems a long time ago last Saturday when City were humbled by Spurs and it will be interesting if we see Pep Guardiola's side smarting from this performance and keen to put down a marker on Merseyside.

It might be bittersweet if they were to help Liverpool's title chances but Everton are not in their usual position between mid-table mediocrity and qualification for minor European spots. Just a point off the drop zone, albeit with games in hand, they need a point today at least.
