West Ham move into the top six of the Premier League table as Angelo Ogbonna’s header gives the Hammers a hard-fought 1-0 win over Everton. It looked like neither side would break each other down in a war of attrition at Goodison Park, but Ogbonna rose highest to nod in a corner in the 74th minute to hand West Ham an important three points to bolster their hopes of a top six finish this season. The result means West Ham leapfrog four clubs into sixth place. Everton, meanwhile, drop down into seventh also on 14 points.

Everton have a corner in the final seconds. It is last chance for Everton. Pickford is up for it. The cross finds Godfrey at the far post but he heads over the bar.

VITAL BLOCK! Coleman's cross find Gray and his first-time shot from just inside the area is heading for the bottom corner, but Zouma make a vital sliding block to stop it from finding the net!

GOOD SAVE! Bowen cuts inside onto his left foot and tries to curl his shot into the top corner, but Pickford makes a fine save to hook it over the bar.

Cresswell's outswinger from a corner comes out to Rice, but he blasts over the bar.

Digne concedes a corner as West Ham go in search of a second to kill this game off. This time Keane deals with it as he heads clear. The ball is worked back into the box and it pinballs around the area before eventually falling to Ogbonna who stabs his shot wide.

Everton are pushing forward now. Can they find a late equaliser? An Everton corner swung in by Gray finds Gray, but he volleys over the bar.

SUBS! Dawson is on for Soucek and Gordon comes in for Iwobi.

Soucek is receiving medical treatment after a collision with Rondon. He is down holding his face and there is a stop in play before an Everton corner can be taken.

GOAL!! OGBONNA SCORES A HEADER FROM A CORNER FOR WEST HAM! The corner floated into the box finds Ogbonna at the near post and he gets ahead of Godfrey and nods into the far corner beyond Pickford. West Ham lead thanks to Ogbonna's first Premier League goal of the season!

Bowen's low cross is sliced clear by Godfrey and it loops into the air. Antonio, back on the pitch, challenges Pickford for the high ball but the goalkeeper does just enough to tip behind for a corner.

We play on at Goodison Park with Antonio going off to the sideline for a closer inspection. Townsend's cross finds Rondon in the box but his header is straight into the arms of Fabianski.

Pickford kicks the ball out of play as Antonio needs medical treatment after Kean clatters into the back of him.

Benrahma slides a ball through for Antonio but his effort is blocked by Keane!

Benrahma's cross into the box flies just over the head of Soucek and out for a goal-kick.

Iwobi drills a cross into the box, which may well have been a shot, but it evades everyone and it flies out for a goal kick. We've had just two shots on target - one apiece - so far in this game.

Still goalless as we pass the hour mark. Everton perhaps deserve to be in front here but there is very little in this. Neither side are conceding any space in the middle of the pitch.
