Salah is almost able to find Minamino in the box but the danger is cleared.

GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! Minamino scores with his first touch after Mane played the ball to Salah on the right and he played in Alexander-Arnold whose perfect square ball is met by the Japanese forward three yards out.

Henderson and Minamino come on for Jota and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Fine save from Alisson! Partey beat Fabinho on the edge of the box and then curled a lovely effort at the top corner but the Brazilian keeper parried away.

GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! A fantastic header from Jota put Mane through on the left and through his first touch was heavy he was able to dink a cross for Salah to volley home into an open goal.

Salah goes down in the box and wants a penalty. He was kind of pulled over by Gabriel. Shortly after Fabinho got a yellow card for fouling Smith Rowe.

Alexander-Arnold sets Salah free down the right and he squares for Jota whose strong shot back across Ramsdale is denied by a strong left hand from the keeper/

Lacazette is replaced by Odegaard for Arsenal.

Lacazette plays a ball through to Aubameyang and he got a shot on goal but Alisson got an outstretched leg out to save.

Great chance for Jota but his touch is heavy and Ramsdale is able to come out and throw himself at the former Wolves striker's feet which then sees him pick up a foul.

Liverpool are all over Arsenal now. Ramsdale made a good saved from Mane and then launched himself across his line to stop Salah hitting in the rebound, but Mane was offside in any case.

GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! A wonderful finish from Jota, committing White who dived past him then waiting for Ramsdale to dive before waltzing past him and slamming home into an empty net.

Arsenal really struggling out play out of the back and the ball comes to Salah but he sees his effort blocked.

Oxlade-Chamberlain raced through the middle of the Arsenal defence and then steered a side-footed effort wide of Ramsdale but also the post.

Van Dijk times a sliding challenge perfectly to deny Aubameyang.

Arsenal get the second half underway...

An entertaining half. Liverpool just deserve the lead but Arsenal have threatened as well.

A stupid foul from Mane off the pitch on Tomiyasu. He could almost have got more than a yellow.
