Gabriel Martinelli comes into the Gunners’ starting XI in place of Bukayo Saka, who is on the bench. That is one of two changes to the side that beat Newcastle at the weekend with Mohamed Elneny drafted into the midfield.

United make three changes to the team that drew 1-1 at Chelsea. Ronaldo’s return is the big headline but Harry Maguire (back from suspension) is also involved as well as Diogo Dalot at right back.
