FINAL HOME GAME OF THE SEASON
Today’s match is Bournemouth’s last at the Vitality Stadium for this season.
The Cherries have picked up 22 points from 18 home games so far this season which puts them in 16th position in the home form table. Away from home however, Bournemouth have picked up 17 points from 18 games which puts them in 12th in the away form table.

A FANTASTIC ACHIEVEMENT
Not many gave Bournemouth a chance at staying up, especially when they were on a run of one win in 13 in the league, but Gary O’Neil managed to get a tune out of his squad throughout April and accumulated enough points to secure their safety for another season. From the 1st to the 30th of April, Bournemouth played seven games, won five and lost twice. Big wins against relegation-candidates Leeds United, Leicester City and now-relegated Southampton meant the Cherries were able to pull away.

NO ROOM FOR A SLIP UP
With Liverpool just a point behind and breathing down their necks, Manchester United cannot afford to let their Champions League space slip this late in the season. Erik ten Hag’s side recently lost consecutive Premier League matches to both Brighton and West Ham United which has allowed a resurgent Liverpool to make up ground on them.
Bournemouth are safe for another season and are playing to achieve as high a Premier League finish as possible.
