Brighton needed two goals from substitute Kaoru Mitoma as they came from a goal down against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon to win 3-1 in their Premier League match at the Amex Stadium. Bournemouth looked to be on course, briefly, for their first league win of the season after Dominic Solanke's early goal but Andoni Iraola's side were unable to hold onto their lead and soon fell away.

Kaoru Mitoma came off the bench to score twice and complete a fine comeback as Brighton secured a 3-1 win over Bournemouth, with Roberto De Zerbi's side climbing to third in the Premier League table.
Brighton made nine changes to the side that lost to AEK Athens in midweek in the Europa League as they looked to claim a third consecutive league victory.
Bournemouth were briefly on course for their first win in the league of the season when Dominic Solanke exploited an error from Brighton’s new goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen in the 24th-minute.
Falling behind appeared to rouse De Zerbi’s side, who had failed to match their usual impressive form.
Milos Kerkez then put into his own net shortly before the end of the first half to send the team in level, and at the restart, Mitoma was introduced as a substitute.
Mitoma was joined by exciting loan signing Ansu Fati, who hopes to re-establish himself as one of Europe’s top talents after injury problems with Barcelona.
Just 16 seconds after his introduction he put the home side ahead, and then scored on 77 minutes to double his tally and his club’s advantage.
For Bournemouth the match represents their 10th straight league game without a win, with new manager Andoni Iraola yet to secure a win since his arrival in the summer.
The Cherries are 17th in the table after six games and host Arsenal next in the league.
