Manchester City keeper Ederson looks set to miss his side's Premier League title showdown with Arsenal on March 31 at the Eithad after he was ruled out for up to four weeks with a muscle injury. The Brazilian hurt himself when he fouled Darwin Nunez during City's 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield, with Ederson conceding the penalty that Alexis Mac Allister scored to equalise for the hosts.

Ederson is set to miss Manchester City’s Premier League title showdown with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on March 31 after the keeper was reportedly ruled out for up to four weeks with injury.
The Brazilian was forced off just before the hour mark in City’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield at the weekend, with Stefan Ortega replacing him between the sticks.
Ederson had been the guilty party for Liverpool’s equaliser in that game, felling Darwin Nunez in the box on 47 minutes after failing to reach Nathan Ake's back-pass.
Alexis Mac Allister stepped up to convert the spot-kick before the City shot-stopper was withdrawn just six minutes later.
Pep Guardiola’s side don’t play a Premier League match until March 31, when they face title rivals Arsenal at the Etihad.
Ederson is likely to miss that affair, and is also set to be sidelined for City’s FA Cup quarter-final against Newcastle United before domestic football breaks for the latest round of internationals.
According to BBC Sport, City have informed Brazil that Ederson will not be fit for the international break, which lasts a fortnight, with the Selecao set to face England and Spain in the space of three days.
Upon the Premier League’s return, City will then welcome Aston Villa on April 3, before they travel to south London to face Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace on April 6, which will be shown live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
