AMDOUNI GIVES CLARETS THEIR JUST DESERTS
Zeki Amdouni’s late penalty gave relegation-threatened Burnley a deserved draw in a wildly open game at Old Trafford.
Man Utd and Burnley had 40 shots between them, and the game could easily have ended 3-3 or 4-4.
For a while it looked like it might finish 0-0. Both teams missed multiple chances before Antony finally broke the deadlock in the 79th minute, pouncing on a loose pass from Sander Berge to finish decisively.
Burnley equalised eight minutes later when VAR penalised Andre Onana for smashing Andouni in the face when he came for a cross. Amdouni took the penalty himself, calmly sending Onana the wrong way.
There were late opportunities at both ends as the two sides pushed desperately for a winner. A draw, however entertaining, is of little use to either side.

FULL TIME: MAN UTD 1-1 BURNLEY
Amad's shot is blocked by Fernandes, of all people, and Antony's follow-up is saved by Muric. That's the last action of a wildly eventful afternoon at Old Trafford.
A draw isn't much use to either side, but it's a fair result on the balance of play. Goodness knows how it was only 1-1 though, because both teams had so many chances.

GOOD SAVE BY ONANA!
Odobert dizzies Wan-Bissaka with a stepover and rifles a shot that is well blocked at the near post by Onana. Both teams have had so many chances.

FINE DEFENDING
Fernandes leads a three-on-two break and tries an early through pass to Amad. It's cut out by the last man O'Shea, who was perfectly positioned.

MAN UTD SUBSTITUTION
Mason Mount replaces the injured Scott McTominay. Moments later, Casemiro's header from a free-kick is saved to his right by Muric. This game is so open.

MAN UTD PENALTY APPEAL
Antony's shot hits the arm of Vitinho, which is slightly away from his body. VAR decides it's not a clear and obvious error - but it was very similiar to the one given against Wan-Bissaka last weekend.
Scott McTominay is down and struggling with injury. There are six minutes of added time.

GREAT DEFENDING BY O'SHEA!
Antony's clever pass finds Casemiro in space on the right side of the area. He draws the keeper and squares the ball in front of an open goal, where O'Shea gets across McTominay to make an outstanding challenge.

PENALTY TO BURNLEY
Onana got away with a similar incident against Wolves on his Man Utd debut, but everyone agreed it was the wrong decision and this time the penalty has been given.

BURNLEY PENALTY APPEAL
A weird header from Casemiro leads to Onana inadvertently whacking Andouni in the face after the ball has gone. This will be a penalty I think.

More bad news for Burnley: Carlton Morris has given Luton a sniff at Molineux.

GOAL! MAN UTD 1-0 BURNLEY (ANTONY)
Antony breaks the deadlock at last! It came from a mistake by Sander Berge, whose pass across the line of the defence was intercepted by Antony. He surged through, resisted a recovery challenge from Antony - he could have gone down - and forced a shot back across Muric. That's a really well-taken goal.

GOOD BLOCK BY MAGUIRE
Assignon's stinging shot is well blocked by Maguire. United break and Garnacho goes over in the area after a tackle from O'Shea, but again John Brooks isn't interested.

GOOD SAVE BY MURIC
A United is half cleared to Amad, who selflessly tees up Garnacho on the edge of the area. He leathers a first-time shot that is pushed over dramatically by the leaping Muric.

VITAL TACKLE BY CASEMIRO
Andouni gets behind Casemiro in the area, but Casemiro recovers to make a vital tackle. Andouni started to stumble just outside the penalty area after being accidentally clipped by Casemiro, but tried to stay on his feet and was tackled. Had he gone down, Casemiro may well have been sent off.
