That is a terrific win for City. Just oozed class throughout the second half. And it is great to see the smile back on the face of De Bruyne. What a player he is. Proper. Saturday. Night. Entertainment.

De Bruyne still had plenty of work to do, but did you expect anything else? Really is on a different planet.

Tries to lob the ball into the net from the halfway line with Dúbravka off his line, but the home keeper doing well to race back and make the stop. Well worth the pop.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. What a finish from Kevin De Bruyne as he marks his return to the Premier League with a brilliant finish from just outside the box. Passed that into the net low to the keeper's right. Four and a half minutes after coming on. It is 2-2.

Lovely little move involved Foden, De Bruyne and Alvarez ends up with Foden just failing to lift the ball towards the home goal. What they would give for a clinical edge like Newcastle now.

But Alvarez leans back from 12 yards as the loose ball broke to him and empties the shot high into the stands behind the goal. That is a remarkable miss, and Pep can't believe it either.

On comes De Bruyne for the visiting side as the Belgian playmaker replaces Silva. City fans loving the sight of that change.

Foden with another pass for Doku, but is crowded out before the ball breaks into the arms of Dúbravka. Isak almost in for a third home goal at the other end from the Burn pass before Dúbravka saves from Kovacic. All happening.

This time Alvarez thumps a shot at the home goal, but Dúbravka is equal to the task again. Looked like the finish should been better. Still 2-1 Newcastle.

Walker with some excellent play to support the attack as Bruno Guimarães is cleaned out by Rodri after Foden just failed to connect with the cutback.

Showing some nice skills to go one way and then the other. Cross deflects wide for another City corner, but the move ends with Foden thumping a shot miles over the bar. Newcastle will take those all night long.
