Wiltord, Kanu released

The former Bordeaux player signed for 13 million pounds in 2000 but was never as successful as other French players at Highbury like Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires.
Media reports have linked Wiltord with a move to North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who will be managed by French national coach Jacques Santini after the European Championships.
Kanu joined Arsenal from Inter Milan in 1999 but had become a bit part player in the last two seasons.
Keown, 37, made 10 league appearances last season, although this was enough for him to gain a championship medal.
Other players released include goalkeeper Rami Shaaban and Latvian defender Igors Stepanovs.
