Hello and welcome to live text coverage of this evening's Serie A match between Napoli and Lazio.

The ball is clipped forward towards Marek Hamsik but it is delivered to high for the Slovak to control and it goes out for a Lazio goal-kick.

As Napoli attempt to counter quickly, Maggio's cross from the right fails to find either Cavani or Lavezzi bursting forward centrally.

Hamsik crosses from the left and Modibo Diakite heads behind for a Napoli corner when his 'keeper Marchetti had looked to come and collect. Mind you, the home side waste the set-piece that follows anyway.

Cavani attempts to play the one-two with Lavezzi to feed the latter through on goal, but Lazio are alert and clear the threat.

Sculli goes down in a heap after charging down Paolo Cannavaro's clearance but is now back on his feet.

Lulic plays the ball to Cisse, who from a central position 20 yards out pulls the trigger, but fails to find the corner with his shot. Instead, the ball flies straight into the arms of De Sanctis.

Cavani chests the ball down for Marek Hamsik, who takes a touch and then fires the ball towards the Lazio goal on the half-volley. However, it is always travelling over having been struck from well out.

Cisse is currently holding his right knee following a heavy challenge, but at the moment is ok to continue.

Cavani ghosts in at the nearpost to get something on the end of Andrea Dossena's cross from the left. But the striker can only make deft contact and the ball travels past him and the goal. To add insult to injury, the offside flag had already been raised.

Lulic finds Giuseppe Sculli out on the Lazio left, but his cross fails to find a target, including Cisse who only really ambled his way into the Napoli box.

Cavani receives down the right flank, but his low cross is cut out by Stankevicius, which followed the Uruguayan's nice turn to create space for himself.

This time Cisse crosses from the left but it's headed away. Then Abdoulay Konko ventures forward and manages to win the corner for Lazio - Hernanes' delivery is met by Stankevicius, but the defender makes only deft contact with his head and the ball travels out.

Cisse attempts to feed the ball through to Hernanes but the two are not on the same wavelength and De Sanctis arrives to gather.

Napoli's Gokhan Inler receives the ball centrally and shuffles it over onto his preferred left foot, but sends a curling 30-yard effort over Marchetti's goal.

Napoli appear to be camped in Lazio's half at the moment, as Marek Hamsik attempts the chip forward for Cavani to run onto, but the ball rolls out of play.

Lavezzi is flagged offside as the Argentine attempts to run onto a lofted through-ball. The Lazio defence had blocked the path forward for the ball anyway.

Lulic brings down Maggio deep in Lazio's defending third out on the right flank. Lavezzi stands over the free-kick and finds Hugo Campagnaro who made a darting run to the near post. However, the unmarked Campagnaro heads well over. Big chance that for Napoli from a sweet Lavezzi delivery.

Blerim Dzemaili blazes well over the Lazio bar from over 30 yards out centrally.

Senad Lulic runs out of space after powering down the Lazio left, and that sums up these opening ten or so minutes with both teams lacking that much-needed spark.

Cisse overhits his cross from the right which Hernanes does well to keep in, but cannot find a man. Moments later, Salvatore Aronica and Cristian Brocchi collide into each other as tempers begin to flare.

Lavezzi plays the ball to Dossena on the edge of the Lazio box but he sloppily allows the ball to roll over his foot and travel out of harm's way.
