Rome. "The city that never sleeps." "The Windy City." "The City of Lights." "The Big Apple." It's the place where these two teams will compete to see who gets the bragging rights in the Derby della Capitale, Roma's title challenge having waned somewhat since their ridiculous start. Victory earlier in the season went to Francesco Totti's lot, and they'll be looking to complete a double at the home of their rivals today.

....no, they can't. It's full time, and it's 0-0 between the two teams. It was far from a dull game, and Roma had by far more chances to win it, and although they won't slip any further behind Juventus, this will be a huge missed opportunity for them. They had a real chance to gain ground on the Bianconeri today, and Antonio Conte's men simply don't give up two goal leads every week.

A colossal cheer rings around the stadium at the news that Verona have claimed a sensational late equaliser against Juventus, but can Roma capitalise? They have the ball, but there are just seconds remaining....

Poor from Mauri, who loses the ball to Roma with Lazio presented with their final chance. It's been a poor return game from the Lazio captain, who has been far less effective than Keita was.

Only two minutes of stoppage time here, which is quite ridiculous, so there's very little time left if either team want to win this.

But here are Lazio - Mauri pumps in a ball for Klose, and De Sanctis comes flying off his line to just about punch it clear. There's still time for a winner here, and Roma will need one, because Juventus still lead at Hellas Verona.

Gervinho with a good chance to either shoot or find Maicon down the right channel, but he takes too long before eventually deciding to do the latter and underhitting his pass. Roma cannot complain about the amount of opportunities they have had here.

And again from Bastos! He completely gets past Konko down the left now - Destro is the only player to aim for, and he points where he wants the ball. Bastos obliges, but for some reason Destro hasn't made the run, and Lazio manage to hack it clear. This is desperate stuff now.

Yet another huge chance goes begging for Roma! Bastos gets away down the left but takes another touch when he really shouldn't, and his effort takes a deflection off Konko and goes away for a corner. He can't believe he hasn't scored.

Ledesma puts in another deep free-kick, but Roma clear. Candreva then picks up the ball, and judging by the amount of teammates in the area he has to aim for compared to previously, Lazio are going for it now. Unfortunately, he can't quite get the cross in, and Roma come away with it. It's still anyone's game...

Another change for Roma - Totti won't be the hero today, he's being taken off, and Mattia Destro comes on in his place.

And now danger for Roma! Onazi almost plays Klose clean through, but his pass just isn't quite clear enough and Benatia clears.
80'
Some much-needed comic relief as Totti takes a dreadful touch to let Lazio have the ball, only for the Biancocelesti to twice thrash clearances into their own players, before Dias heads back to Berisha, who almost misses it and lets the ball slither over the line, before being relieved that the whistle had gone.

And now Lazio make a chance too. Ogenyi Onazi comes on for Gonzalez.

And that will be Pjanic's last act of the game, one he'll want to put behind him as soon as possible. In his place is Adem Ljajic - can he be the hero?

Danger! Pjanic escapes down the right, but is once again hesitant and doesn't take it first time. He attempts to centre after he's run it too close to the byline to shoot, and it ends up sliced across the area, falling to a blue shirt and allowing Lazio to hack it clear. That could've gone anywhere, but it's yet another bad moment from Pjanic, who has had chances to win this game thrice over.

Strootman wins the ball in midfield and advances forward with intent. His pass to Gervinho on the left, however, is just slightly overhit, and that allows Dias to get in between the former Arsenal man and the ball and coolly play it back to the keeper. The Brazilian has been excellent in defence today.

Lazio have a deep free-kick, which Ledesma fires towards the back post, but it's too high. De Sanctis goes for it, as does Lulic, but a foul is called and Roma get away without too much trouble.

This game has not quite had the zip about it that it did in the first half. The pace is dropping, and it looks like a moment of inspiration will be needed from someone if a winner is to be found.
70'
Roma surround the Lazio area, but simply cannot find a way through the massed ranks of blue shirts. Strootman can't work the space for a shot, so instead plays it to Totti, but his effort isn't well-struck and slithers wide.
68'
Lazio make a terrible hash of the corner but get another go - Candreva whips it in, and almost gets the flick-on from Dias, but Roma eventually manage to hold firm.
