Donnarumma slices his clearance to Candreva but his cross in is poor. But Inter keep it alive and eventually win a corner.
25'
JUST WIDE! D'Ambrosio down the right for Inter and this time the cross is great. Perisic meets it around 10 yards out but heads wide! What a chance for the 'visitors'. Moments later, Inter win a corner... which Kondogbia flicks JUST past the post.
23'
Inter have a free-kick just in Milan's half but it's wasteful and goes out for a goal-kick. Some jostling in the box and some appeals for a penalty but that's never going to be given. Short goal-kick from Donnarumma is poor and Inter put the pressure on MIlan again, but Abate hoofs clear.

Bonaventura curls it in but Inter head it clear for a throw. Decent chance there for Milan to show their strength in the air but it was a poor cross in truth.
19'
Inter having the majority of the possession here but it's all crosses and not much coming from it. Milan look to attack down the left with De Sciglio and Niang. Kondogbia goes in the book for a poor tackle on Bonaventura and Milan have a free-kick 30 yards out.

Niang is down after a crunching tackle from Kondogbia. Sure he'll be ok, not a derby for the faint of heart this one.
15'
SAVE! A cross just evades Icardi but it bobbles into Brozovic's path who can have a clear attempt on goal. It's poor though as it's straight at the 'keeper and Donnarumma gets down to collect the ball.
13'
Quiet period of play, although it's certainly not quiet from the fans. Neither side has created a telling chance but there's plenty of time to go...
11'
Patient play from Inter but a terrible Candreva cross gives Milan a goal-kick. Again a cross comes in from D'Ambrosio but Donnarumma catches. A lot of crosses from Inter - and they've done so more than any other Serie A side this season.
Corner for Inter but Kondogbia heads over.
9'
Good cross in from D'Ambrosio but it's headed away. Inter looking stronger here so far but Niang has already shown how dangerous he can be on the break for Milan.
7'
Inter on the attack and Brozovic wins a corner. It's played short and nothing comes of it.
Down the other end, Niang bursts down the left and gets a decent cross in but no Milan player can meet the ball.
5'
Niang goes down in the box! No penalty! It was a tussle with Medel in the box and more of a 50/50. The referee points for a goal-kick. Tight call, but the right one it would seen.
3'
Nervy start from Milan. A poor clearance from Donnarumma puts them on the back foot but they eventually win the ball back. Slight worry there, but Milan come forward.
Perisic meanwhile is down after a high fall from an attempted header.

And away we go. That Milan tifo, by the way, was celebrating Silvio Berlusconi's time as owner. Let's get back to the game shall we.

So the teams are just heading out, only a couple minutes later than planned. A huge AC Milan tifo greets the players, while the Inter fans have a decent display themselves. The San Siro is absolutely rocking.
19.40
As for Inter, it has been a season to forget so far. Frank de Boer was sacked in November after just 85 days in charge, with Stefano Pioli becoming their ninth manager in just six years. That's the six years since Jose Mourinho led them to Champions League glory in 2010. How times change, eh.
19.35
Naturally, the San Siro plays host for tonight's derby. AC Milan are technically the home team, and they'll be looking for their third league win in a row. They beat leaders Juventus 1-0 in October, but went on to lose 3-0 at Genoa three days later. Consistency is key, and a win over their arch rivals tonight could lift them up to second.
