FULL TIME
A strange game if ever I saw one.
Ronaldo scores the second fastest hat-trick of his career to all but end this game as a contest within 33 minutes but Cagliari didn't look out of it for a second.
They kept their heads up, kept attacking, and were unlucky only to get the one goal in this one.
In truth, Juve were a one-man team tonight, with Cagliari outplaying all but one of their XI.
The Old Lady go within 10 points of Inter with a game in hand. Hopes alive, just.
90+3'
Cagliari won't score two now but all the same they're absolutely going for it. I think I'm a Cagliari fan now - they've really won me over and don't deserve to lose this.
90+1'
The two sides are all square on possession now.
Cagliari have beaten Juve for attempts and matched them for shots on target. But Juve have Ronaldo. That really has been the difference this evening.
88'
Ronaldo has barely had a sniff in this half.
I was sort of hoping he'd do a madness and score six or something.
87'
CLOSE!
So close to 3-2! Marin bends an effort just wide of Szczesny's right-hand post.
Would've made for such a nervy finish had that gone in, but time is running out for the hosts now.
84'
Danilo picks out Cuadrado with a brilliant crossfield pass but the winger's first touch is a poor one.
Cuadrado and Chiesa now make way for Arthur and Frabotta.
81'
Another Cagliari corner. Can they make it count?
It's a triple sub first as Pereiro, Cerri and Deiola all enter the field.
CLOSE!
The corner bounces into the box and Klavan gets a head to it but can only send it into the ground and into Szczesny's arms.
78'
Pure panic at the back for Juve as Duncan dances his way through a number of striped shirts.
It's pretty end-to-end stuff now with Rabiot also going close for Juve up the other end.
74'
Nainggolan tries for a worldy from distance...
High and wide.
73'
That change has done Juventus a world of good already with Ronaldo have a couple sighters on his own up top.
He's not the happy chappy from the first half though as he barks orders at his side that look a bag of nerves at the back.
71'
Pirlo has seen enough as Morata makes way for Bonucci.
The Spaniard has not had a great game by any standards and the introdution of Bonucci is, without doubt, a defensive one to help put the breaks on Cagliari's momentum.

Cagliari are all over Juventus now. They know that one goal in the next ten minutes will make this a really nervy ending.
They've been a great watch. They've shown absolutely no desire, at any point in this game, to try and play for a draw or simply defend.
If it weren't for Ronaldo I'd have fancied them to win this.
66'
Brilliant from Bernadeschi who strides into the final third before playing in Danilo.
But the Spaniard picks the wrong pass with three striped shirts approaching in space.
64'
Simeone was completely unmarked there. I think it's De Ligt who lost him.
Really poor marking from Juventus who have looked a little complacent so far.
That said, Ronaldo does almost score a fourt with a whipped effort that flies a yard wide of the post.
61'
GOAL! CAGLIARI 1 JUVENTUS 3 (Simeone, 61)
No less than they deserve!
Cagliari have been knocking on the door in this second half and they have a goal back!.
Zappa gets in behind the Juve backline and pulls back for Simeone who rifles an acrobatic effort past Szczesny.
Could they?

SAVE!
Szczesny has to stay on his toes as Duncan forces the 'keeper into a diving save with a viscious free-kick.
ANOTHER SAVE!
Nandez this time goes for goal from distance and Szczesny is there again to tip over!
Great stuff.
55'
It's smart game management from Juventus because they're almost letting Cagliari have the ball and come forward before unleashing the pace up top on the counter.
51'
Cagliari showing great spirit to keep their heads up and they've won another corner. This one isn't headed clear, but it is whacked clear after some pinball football by the near post.
RAPID
49'
Godin is no stranger to Ronaldo hat-tricks of course.
Ronaldo battered three past Atletico Madrid in the Champions League to overturn a first-leg 2-0 deficit.
He's also scored a fair few more in other matches against him too during their La Liga days.
