Goal chalked off! Inter break from the corner, Lukaku has the ball in the back of the net but he's adjudged to be offside and it won't count.
Inter have a chance to secure the win as Lukaku plays a reverse pass into the path of Hakimi on the right side of the penalty area, he tries to roll it across to give Sanchez a tap-in... but it's intercepted. At the other end, Sassuolo win a corner...
De Vrij makes a crucial last-ditch and perfectly-timed tackle inside the box, Srkiniar celebrates it like a goal, but the offside flag was up in any case. There will be THREE minutes of added time to play, can the visitors conjure up one last chance?
Inter chance! Lukaku puts it on a plate for Sanchez, who has just the goalkeeper to beat to seal the point... but his audacious lob is sent well over the bar!
There's no way out for Inter at the moment as Sassuolo throw the kitchen sink at the hosts. Can Conte's side hold on or will the visitors snatch an unlikely point?
- GoalHamed TraorèSassuolo
GOAL! Inter 2-1 Sassuolo (Hakim Traore): It's all a bit of a mess at the back from an Inter point-of-view and their clean sheet is gone. Hakim overplays it and loses the ball, Young makes a questionable challenge but play is allowed to continue and it falls to Traore who curls an impressive shot into the top corner. Game on?!
Sassuolo win a free-kick in a threatening area, 25 yards out in a central position. Raspadori smashes it straight at the wall and actually straight at the face of Skriniar.
Sassuolo sub: Boga makes way for Oddei.
So, Inter will move 11 points clear of the chasing pack with this victory with just nine games remaining. It would take an almighty collapse to lose the title from here.

Inter sub: Alexis Sanchez replaces Martinez for the last 13 minutes or so.
- OffJeremy ToljanSassuolo
- OnLukáš HaraslínSassuolo
Double Sassuolo sub: Kirakopoulos and Haraslin come on for Rogerio and Toljan.
Traore hits the side-netting as another Sassuolo chance goes begging. It's not their night in front of goal.
Sassuolo, to their credit, aren't prepared to give up without a fight, and once again they are denied a penalty after their appeals for a De Vrij handball go ignored.
All eyes are on the referee as VAR has a look at the incident inside Inter's penalty area... but the goal is going to stand! It's Inter 2-0 Sassuolo and surely now Conte's men have one hand on the title. Meanwhile, Vecino replaces Gagliardini here.
- GoalLautaro MartínezInternazionale
GOAL! Inter 2-0 Sassuolo (Lautaro Martinez): The advantage is doubled with a textbook counter-attack goal! De Vrij grabs the shirt of Raspadori inside the Inter penalty area but Sassuolo's penalty appeals fall on deaf ears. And here come the hosts on the counter, Lukaku feeding Martinez who punishes them with a clinical finish!
Conte's blueprint on this squad is very clear now - Inter have conceded just three goals in their last 10 matches - and it's becoming increasingly difficult to see Sassuolo breaching it this evening.
It's still all Sassuolo and yet they have to create a clear cut opportunity with an hour on the clock.

- OnStefano SensiInternazionale
Free-kick to Sassuolo! Young is booked for handball on the edge of the penalty area, right of centre. Meanwhile, Stefano Sensi replaces Eriksen, who has been largely anonymous throughout.
Chance for Sassuolo! The visitors work a nice and patient attacking move, the ball is worked into the path of Djuricic, who finds a pocket of space to run into. He should do better with the shot, however, as he drags it well wide of goal.
Inter are slightly boxed in at the moment as the visitors continue to apply pressure without really threatening.
Sassuolo half-chance! Finally, Handanovic is forced into action. It's a tame enough effort from Boga but the Inter goalkeeper spills the shot from range and he's relieved to gather on the second attempt.
Sassuolo are being limited to shots from distance and unfortunately for the visitors they don't have their shooting boots on, as Traore drills an effort well wide.
Boga does well to skip away from Skriniar in a tight area as he drives to the by-line but his cross is smothered by Handanovic.
Handanovic can safely watch Rogerio's ambitious shot from distance fly well wide of his goal.
Sassuolo have made a positive start to the restart and they win a corner after a block from Darmian.
Kick-off! The visitors get us underway here at San Siro.
Half-time: There is no added-time as the referee blows time on the opening 45 minutes, with Romelu Lukaku's 21st goal of the league campaign separating the sides.
Close! That would have capped a fine first-half performance from Young, who tries a first-time curling effort from just outside the penalty area, but it doesn't get the dip required as the ball floats over the bar.
Skriniar makes an important block on Boga's effort as Sassuolo's corner ends in frustration for the visitors.
Handanovic makes a save! Finally Sassuolo find a way through the Inter defence but there's no way past Handanovic, who makes himself big to deny Traore from point-blank range.
Sassuolo's attacking play has been too predictable and pedestrian-like, and Inter's defence is handling everything that is being thrown at them with ease.
Young drives down the left flank once more and once more Sassuolo retreat. He eventually runs into trouble, however, the loose ball drops to Barella whose shot is deflected harmlessly into the goalkeeper's arms.
Sassuolo force a corner but Lukaku is back to fulfil his defensive duties with a clearing header at the near post.
Lukaku is released on the right flank, he carves inside ominously but instead of shooting he tries to roll a pass across the face of goal but fails to pick out a home shirt.
Traore has a shooting chance when he receives the ball on the edge of the box but he opts to pass instead and his attempted pass is cut out by the resilient Inter defence. For all of their possession, the visitors have yet to test Handanovic.
Sassuolo come again, winning a free-kick on the right which Raspadori sends in. It's a decent delivery and Inter scramble it behind for a corner.
- Yellow cardHamed TraorèSassuolo
Yellow card! Traore commits a foul that demonstrates Sassuolo's frustration and he deservedly goes into the book.
The early lead has allowed Inter to sit deep, be well organised and disciplined in defence and not to exert too much energy. It's not champagne football, but boy is it effective.
Catch a glimpse of Lukaku's opener...
Inter absorb more pressure and Gagliardini then wins the hosts a free-kick in what has been a professional performance from Conte's men so far.
Juve are ahead in their crucial match with Napoli, and guess who scored?
- Yellow cardNicolò BarellaInternazionale
Yellow card! Barella is booked for a late challenge, his fifth yellow of the season, and he will now miss Inter's next game.
Believe it or not, Sassuolo have had more possession than the hosts so far. Inter are content to sit deep and hope to catch their opponent on the counter when the opportunity arises.
Lukaku's finish was excellent but Young's cross was just as good. Operating as a left-winger, he has been excellent in the early stages of this contest.
It's worth noting that Sassuolo are missing a number of key players this evening, but Inter are in no mood to show their opponents any mercy.
- GoalRomelu LukakuInternazionale
GOAL! Inter 1-0 Sassuolo (Romelu Lukaku): Who else but Lukaku! With 10 minutes on the clock, the Belgian gives Inter the lead with his 21st goal of the campaign! He gets in front of his marker to meet Young's cross and guides his header into the far corner. Inter are up and running!
- Yellow cardAndrea ConsigliSassuolo
Yellow card! Darmian releases Young with a raking ball over the top and the veteran Englishman beats Consigli for pace, the onrushing goalkeeper then takes him out to concede a free-kick on the left flank at the expense of a booking.
Miss! Young takes down a diagonal ball and twists and turns to create the space for a cross, picking out Hakimi, who slips between two defenders to meet it. However, he doesn't get a clean connection on his header and the chance goes begging!
Sassuolo are enjoying pleny of the ball in the final third and Obiang tries his luck with an effort on the edge of the box, but it's just wide and Handanovic had it covered in any case.
Sassuolo work a nice move between the lines, Djuricic picks up a pocket of space and fires a shot at goal from 25 yards. It's always rising, though, and never troubling Handanovic.
Martinez applies pressure on Chiriches and forces a mistake out of the Sassuolo defender, winning the ball and feeding Barella, who darts into the box from the right. However, he can't deliver a cross or attempt a shot as he scuffs the ball out of play.

On paper, this looks like a certain victory for Inter; in reality, however, it could work out very differently. As mentioned, Sassuolo have a fantastic record at the San Siro, and in the last 15 meetings between the clubs, Neroverdi have won seven of them.
Inter are interested in Manchester United's Eric Bailly, who only has a year left on his contract...
With both Milan and Juventus dropping points at the weekend, the Nerazzurri took full advantage with a 1-0 victory in Bologna to tighten their grip on top spot.
Football sometimes throws up strange stories and it is remarkable that Sassuolo are unbeaten at San Siro since 2014. Captaining the visitors today once more is Giacomo Raspadori, the local 21-year-old who scored to earn Sassuolo a point against Roma at the weekend. Hamed Traore, scorer of the first goal in that 2-2 draw, also keeps his place in the side.
Ashley Young continues to keep his place on the left flank in the absence of Ivan Perisic. Stefan de Vrij has recovered from Covid-19 and starts at centre-back. Inter are missing Alessandro Bastoni and Marcelo Brozovic through suspension and therefore Matteo Darmian and Roberto Gagliardini are handed a place in the XI.
TEAM NEWS - Inter XI: Handanovic, Skriniar, De Vrij, Darmian, Hakimi, Barella, Eriksen, Gagliardini, Young, Martinez, Lukaku /// Sassuolo XI: Consigli, Toljan, Chiriches, Marlon, Rogerio, Obiang, Lopez, Traore, Djuricic, Boga, Raspadori.
Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Serie A clash between Inter and Sassuolo. This contest was initially due to be played last month but was delayed after a Covid-19 outbreak in the Inter camp.
