Ibrahimovic wins a header in the box and knocks it down into space. It’s crying out for a finish, but Bennacer fires over.

Zlatan thunders a free-kick through the wall and Handanovic reacts well to make a smart save.

More changes as players start to fade.

Dzeko is down and Milan eventually put the ball out of play. Their fans are furious that the game was stopped, the Inter fans are furious that it took so long to be stopped.

WHAT. A. CHANCE! Inter win the ball high and Dzeko squares it to Vidal in acres of space inside the box. His first effort is blocked, and he goes for a second attempt for the rebound, which is blocked again by Kalulu.

Zlatan has been pretty quiet tonight, but he very nearly gives Milan the lead with a first time whipped shot as the ball breaks to him in the box, sending his effort narrowly wide of the far top corner.

The change is enforced.

This is a concern for Inter. Barella is struggling, looks like a hamstring injury.

This is still a fascinating game, but it’s not the unstructured chaos of the first half, more of a proper professional football match now.

Darmian claims for a red card against Rebic for a wayward hand, which is very optimistic judging by the replays.
