Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of AC Milan's Serie A clash with Venezia, as the Rossoneri hope to continue their unbeaten start to the season. Let's have a look at the team news ahead of this 7:45pm kick-off!

Full-time: AC Milan move joint top of Serie A with this 2-0 victory over Venezia. It wasn't an entirely comfortable night, but the introduction of Theo Hernandez and Alexis Saelemaekers off the bench made the difference.

Pioli's second half substitutes have really made the difference, Theo Hernandez especially. A goal and an assist in half an hour isn't a bad night's work.

GOAL! AC Milan 2-0 Venezia (Theo Hernandez): Having registered the assist for the opener, Theo Hernandez turns goalscorer as he buries a low shot into the far corner after being set by a beautiful Saelemaekers pass.

Milan sub: The goalscorer Diaz makes way for Kessie.

Save! From the resulting free-kick, Theo Hernandez lifts his shot over the wall and forces a save from Maenpaa.

Yellow card! Caldara is cautioned for a foul on Saelemaekers.

Venezia subs: Okereke comes on for Johnsen, while Mazzocchi replaces Ebuehi for the last 15 minutes or so.

GOAL! AC Milan 1-0 Venezia (Brahim Diaz): Relief for Milan! Diaz scores his third goal of the season to give the hosts the lead. Bennacer spots the run of Theo Hernandez and floats a cross to the back post, he sidefoots it across the face of goal and Diaz is left with a simple finish from six yards.

Tonali runs into Busio and it's no surprise that Milan's half hearted appeals for a spot-kick fall on deaf ears.

Almost an own goal! Kalulu shins his clearance and Maignan has to come to his rescue to prevent an almighty embarrassing moment for Milan.

Venezia are growing in confidence you feel and force a corner. It's whipped into the heart of Milan's penalty area - but Caldara clatters into Romagnoli, who goes down hur.t They could do without another injury!

Triple Milan sub: Pioli has seen enough - he hooks Ballo Toure, Florenzi and Gabbi, with Theo Hernandez, Saelemaekers and Tomori coming on.

Romagnoli makes an inch-perfect challenge to take the ball from Henry, who had burst into the penalty area. He had to get it right - and he did!

Double Venezia sub: Henry and Crnigoj are on for Forte and Peretz, which means the visitors will alter their shape.
