Bennacer is trying his best to advance the play from his deeper-lying role. He's dropping just ahead of the centre-backs, looking to get onto the ball as much as he can.

Milan need to up their tempo here. They're moving the ball too slowly and just aren't allowing themselves to penetrate the space between the home defensive lines.

A nice clipped ball over the top from Florenzi looks for Ibrahimovic with a half volley as the ball drops over his shoulder, but he fires over.

Better from Milan, as they up the tempo somewhat... Hernandez gets in behind down the left and fizzes a cross in, but no-one's there in the box to get on the end of it.

It's good early possession play from Milan. Udinese are a threat on the counter though, and the route one approach via Beto's flick on just evades Deulofeu and Maignan makes an important save.

The defensive shape for the home side is very rigid and structured. They're sitting deep in their shape, but Deulofeu and Beto have got licence to put pressure on the ball carrier when they see fit.
