CHANCE FOR MILAN!
And that, I believe, is the first shot on target of the game.
Milan work it upfield nicely and Diaz finds some space for a shot at the edge of the area, but it's central and Patricio can palm it over.

YELLOW FOR LEAO
Leao is next in the book. The Milan star comes sliding in on Abraham and it's about as well-timed as you would expect from a forward...

SHOT BLOCKED
Bennacer whips in a low delivery towards Giroud, but his shot is charged down from 12 yards out.

LEAO THREATENS
Zaniolo fancies a go again, but again his shot is blocked.
Now off go Milan, with Leao flying up the other end on a weaving run. Mancini stops him eventually as the winger enters the box, but at the expense of a corner.

MILAN BOSSING POSSESSION
It's a classic Mourinho 'soak up and strike' strategy so far. The visitors have just 24% possession midway through the first half, but Milan have struggled to create much so far.
Giroud heads a cross goalwards, but Smalling heads it clear.

CORNER COMES TO NOTHING
Roma win a corner and send up the heavy artillery, but a foul is called after Ibanez came clattering into Tatarusanu as the keeper came to claim the delivery.

CALABRIA SHUTS DOWN DANGER
Leao curls a cross in towards the front post, but it's gathered by Patricio.
Calabria then makes an excellent challenge on Zalewski at the other end to shut down a dangerous situation as the Poland international headed towards the box.

LEAO VS CELIK
Leao tries to take on Celik one-on-one at the byline, but a foul goes against the winger.
It could be a nervy night ahead for the Roma wing-back now - he's got 80 minutes of one-on-ones against the dancing feet of Leao to come, and he can't afford another yellow.

CELIK BOOKED
That didn't take long. Celik is the first name in the book after a cynical pull-back on Diaz.
Roma players crowd the referee in protest. Not sure what they've got to complain about there...

END TO END
Roma win a free-kick midway into the Milan half and Pellegrini lofts it towards the back post, but Tatarusanu is there to collect.
The hosts quickly counter again and there's an awkward moment for Patricio as he needs a second attempt to gather a Leao ball.

ZANIOLO TAKES AIM
Zaniolo's never shy to have a shot, but his ambitious effort from distance cannons off a defender and goes out for a throw.

AWFUL WEATHER
The rain is coming down hard in Milan as the hosts start the brighter.
Abraham is robbed of possession and Milan go up the other end, where Leao's cross is glanced wide by Tonali.

UNDERWAY
Pictures of Vialli and former Italy and Juventus player Enrico Castano, who also sadly passed away last week, are projected on the big screens at San Siro as the crowd pay their respects.
The referee then blows his whistle and we're underway in front of a packed house.

MOURINHO BANNED
If you were hoping for some Mourinho touchline antics tonight, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed.
The Roma boss is suspended and apparently will be watching the game from the team bus outside the stadium!

The players are on the pitch. We'll have a minute's silence to remember Vialli, then it's game time.

Abraham’s time to shine?
It’s been a difficult season so far for England striker Abraham, whose dip in form came at the wrong time as he missed out on a place in the Three Lions squad for the World Cup.
He was left on the bench for last week’s 1-0 win over Bologna, but is restored to the starting XI tonight – can the former Chelsea man add to his tally of three league goals?

VIALLI TRIBUTES
Here are some of the tributes that poured in from across the world of football and beyond following Vialli's death aged 58.

RIP GIANLUCA VIALLI
There will be a minute's silence before kick-off tonight to remember Gianluca Vialli, who sadly died last week after a battle with cancer.
The former Sampdoria, Juventus and Chelsea striker was a much-loved figure across Italy and every Serie A game this weekend has included a remembrance to him.
Vialli's former club Samp, where he won an unlikely league title in 1991, remembered him earlier with this banner: "Striker, champion, legend"

PIOLI = KRYPTONITE
What is it about Pioli? Mourinho doesn't enjoy facing the Milan coach...
