Inter had to win today and they did, a comfortable win against opposition that never really threatened.

Edin Dzeko burts forward with the ball before cutting inside and unleashing a shot which is blocked well by a Lecce defender.

Inter haven't really had to get out of the proverbial first gear in this encounter and they are currently seeing the game out. Moving the ball around and running the clock down.

Hjulmand manages to head towards goal but his header is just wide of the target.

Inter, if they really wanted to go up the gears, could score one or two more here. Lecce are pushing forward and leaving space in behind.

Romelu Lukaku does well to hold the ball upbefore finding Gosens who in turn finds Calhanoglu but his cross goes out of play.

Bastoni slams his effort across goal and it's out for a goal kick. He will be disappointed not to have made the keeper work there.

Gosens goes down in the penalty area under a challenge and looks in some discomfort. The referee couldn't have been in a better position and waved away the appeals.
