VLAHOVIC SEES RED AS JUVENTUS FRUSTRATED IN GOALLESS DRAW
Juventus could only take a point at home to mid-table Genoa. They stay third in the Serie A table on the same points tally as AC Milan.
A late Dusan Vlahovic red card compounded their problems, as the Serbian striker was given his marching orders following a foul and dissent in second half stoppage time.
Moments earlier, Moise Kean came closest for the Bianconeri. His low shot from the edge of the area cannonned back off the left post, as the Turin team pushed hard for the winning goal.
Genoa defended manfully and kept the deadlock, with Mattia Bani and Djed Spence strong and full of running, helping to snuff out threats.
Sixteen points down on runaway leaders Inter, Juventus’ next league game is away to Lazio in Rome.

WELL, JUVE GOT A RARE CLEAN SHEET
A point puts them level with Milan in second place in Serie A. But they were lacking a clinical edge and it showed. Genoa stayed twelfth after a well-earned poiint.
The bad patch continues for the Bianconeri.

ONE MINUTE OF STOPPAGE TIME LEFT...
Iling-Junior fouled in left midfield, 40 yards out. Last roll of the dice now for Juve.

GREAT DEFENDING FROM CITTADINI
As Kean goes for a 50-50 ball on the left wing, the substitude fender shoulder barges him then expertly gets his foot in to win the ball.

VLAHOVIC IS OFF FOR A FOUL ON THE KEEPER AND DISSENT
Jumping for the ball from the corner, there was a bit of elbow in there. He gets a yellow card for his troubles too.
Walking away, chuntering to himself angrily, not sure if it was for the foul or dissent, but he's off with another yellow and a red!

THERE'LL BE A FAIR FEW MINUTES OF STOPPAGE TIME
Genoa are happy to use throw-ins and defensive headers to briefly pin Juventus in their half. A minute left.

INEFFECTIVE CROSSES FROM JUVE
Iling-Junior has a corner and another cross after the ball comes out on the left, Gatti fires a ball straight into Martinez's ball from the right after the Bianconeri work it round.

MISCUE FROM ILING-JUNIOR
This sums up their game so far. The speedy sub is set free down the left, it's three on three, but as he runs into the box, with Spence keeping up, he slips delivering the shot (or cross) and it rolls into Martinez's arms impotently.

GATTI OVERHITS HIS CROSS
It plops gratefully into the arms of the leaping Martinez. Proper defender's ball in, that.
Buckle up for ten frenetic minutes as the home team pour forward.

GENOA HAVE STOOD FIRM SO FAR
They've packed the box, done well in the air for the crosses coming in from the flanks and have smothered the Bianconeri whenever they try and play around them in the box. They're putting bodies on the line, and might come away with a point for their troubles.

VLAHOVIC HEADS OVER
A couple of yards from the goal, the in-form Serb just can't under Cambiaso's cross from the right and the ball sails into the stands. That was a half-chance gone begging.
