KEAN SHOOTS WIDE
Kean has been shaking his head ever since being denied that goal, and his mood won’t get any better as he slides a shot inches wide of the far post after a loose ball breaks to him in the box. He glances skyward and screams in frustration.

BRILLIANT SAVE
What a stop that is! Montipo gets his fingertips to a headed effort off a corner and keeps it goalless.

AS TIGHT AS IT GETS
The offside decision has just been shown, and it doesn’t get much finer a margin than that. Kean was coming back from an offside position, with a sliver of his heel still beyond the defender as he ran back when the ball was played. That’s so unlucky.

GOAL RULED OUT!
Oh my, how unfortunate is that. An offside call denies Kean his first goal in ten matches and that early strike is ruled out.

GOOOAAALLL!!!
The pressure was building in a big way, and Moise Kean gets the goal that Juve’s start deserved, bursting forward after shrugging off two challenges, cutting inside onto his right, and sending a shot into the bottom corner via a slight deflection off Vlahovic. 1-0!

VERONA SURVIVE
Vlahovic has a shot blocked inside the box and a defensive scramble ensues. Somehow Juve manage not to really test the keeper, which looked harder to do than get an effort on target. It remains goalless.

ANOTHER CRACK FROM RANGE
Vlahovic has a pop from distance after Verona give the ball away in a dangerous area, but it’s a comfortable save for Montipo.

BEAUTIFUL FOOTBALL
McKennie surges inside and picks out a nice switch of play to find Kean. He in turn cuts inside and lets fly, but his shot is blocked.

STRONG START FOR JUVE
Juventus have had the better of the possession in the early stages in Turin, but Verona aren’t sitting back, far from it at this stage. They’re happy to commit a good number of players forward when in possession.

STATS AND FACTS
Verona have never won away at Juventus in Serie A history – a record that stretches out to 32 matches. Juve haven’t conceded in any of their three most recent meetings, all wins, with tonight’s opposition.
19:30
TOUGH TIMES FOR VERONA
This evening’s visitors to the Allianz Stadium have not won a league game since August, sliding down towards the relegation zone with a demoralising run of results. It would be an almighty shock should the goal-shy visitors pull off a result tonight, although they have proved hard to break down across their matches this season, conceding just 11 goals in their nine matches – one of the best records outside of the teams competing for European qualification.

WHAT THE MANAGER SAID
Massimiliano Allegri was keen not to start talking about a title challenge too early, as he looked ahead to tonight’s fixture.
“Verona are a physically strong team, they have good players. We must get a good result to back up the win against Milan.
Nobody likes to throw the word Scudetto around lightly. We need to be realistic. We are working hard and we must continue to do so if we are to improve.
“Juventus has a great future, we all need to grow on a technical and mental level to build a solid team. The clear objective is to get into the top four.”
19:15
STATE OF PLAY IN SERIE A
Juventus would go top of the league with a win tonight, albeit only temporarily. Both Milan clubs play on Sunday, with Inter sitting top of the table prior to this match, and Milan sandwiched between the two follow Juve’s 1-0 win against them a week ago.
