Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE commentary of the FA Cup fourth round clash between Cardiff and Manchester City.

Manchester City seal their place in the last 16 of the FA Cup with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Championship side Cardiff.

First half goals by De Bruyne and Sterling prove the difference and Pep Guardiola's side remain on course for four trophies this season.

Bennett, who probably should have been sent off for his foul on Sane in the first period, receives a second yellow for a late tackle on Diaz.

Sterling plays a clever cut-back to Aguero but the Argentine leans back and blazes his shot high into the stands. He's desperate for a goal, but it's not going to be his day.

Meanwhile, the fourth official announces there will be three minutes of additional time to play.

Brahim Diaz comes on for Bernardo Silva for the last couple of minutes.

Cardiff make a change in midfield, with Loic Damourat replacing Ralls.

City are determined to grab a third, but it just won't come. Gundogan sets up Danilo but the wing-back strikes the ball straight at Etheridge from close range.

Cardiff are preparing their third and final change with only five minutes of normal time remaining.

Silva is presented with a chance to wrap this tie up but he produces a tame, side-footed effort straight at Etheridge from inside the area.

Feeney's first contribution is to dink an inviting cross into the six yard box, it appears to be deflected over the bar by Kompany, but Lee Mason signals for a City goal-kick.

Yellow cards beginning to stack up now as Fernandino is booked for a foul on Grujic.

Cardiff sub: Liam Feeney takes the place of Mendez-Laing.

Manga goes into the book for a late challenge on Aguero

Wow, what a remarkable pass from De Bruyne! The Belgian delivers the perfect through-pass to Sterling who is left one-on-one with the goalkeeper but Etheridge is off his line quickly to make the block.

De Bruyne produces a moment of magic to create space for a shot on the edge of the box, but his effort is charged down.

Cardiff have been showing some encouraging signs in the last 10 minutes or so and if they can grab a goal then we could be in for an interesting climax to this fourth round FA Cup tie.

Cardiff are denied a penalty! A corner delivery finds Pilkington at the far post, he tries to float the ball back into the six yard box but it strikes the hand of Walker! Lee Mason isn't interested in the home side's appeals though.

Aguero dances his way into the Cardiff penalty area but can only win a corner. De Bruyne delivers the corner but the hosts hack the danger clear.

Cardiff go close, very close! Hoilett is allowed to cut inside onto his stronger right foot, he curls the ball towards goal, Bravo looks beaten, but it drifts just wide of the post.

The substitute almost makes an immediate impact! Again, a long ball is knocked down, this time Pilkington is the recipient but he hooks the effort over from the right-hand side of the box.
