You can't say they don't deserve it - they have been the better side in the first half.

Beautiful skill from Newport's captain Labadie as he gets away from a couple of Spurs defenders before drilling in a low cross, forcing a corner.

Ten minutes until half time and Newport continue to stand firm. They have pressed the visitors all over the pitch, but how long can they keep this up before tiring?

Labadie fouls Kane from behind, conceding a free-kick and earning a yellow card.

Kane takes the free-kick himself, but he curls the effort just over the bar.

This is the best moment for Spurs so far. They carve open the home defence, with Sissoko picking out Kane from the by-line and the England international forces a save from Day at his near post.

Newport pump the ball into the danger area and Spurs can only partially clear. The loose ball falls to White who hammers his shot wide from the edge of the box.

It has to be said, Kane and Llorente - Spurs' two strikers - have barely had a touch in the opening half-hour.

Walker-Peters is allowed to cut inside from the left, he opts to shoot but his effort is charged down. Newport defending well.

It's all rather scrappy at the moment and that will suit Newport.

Wilmott's cross/shot from the resulting takes a slight touch off Sissoko, but Vorm makes a straightforward save.

Trippier concedes a needless free-kick close to the corner flag and this is a decent opportunity for Newport to test the visitors' rearguard...

Just over 20 minutes have been played and Newport will be delighted with how the game has gone thus far. Imagine if the hosts can hold Spurs to a draw and earn a replay at Wembley...

The fourth official is investigating a done which is currently flying over the stadium, presenting a slight security concern.
