It's the first time United had been cut open this evening and it's absolutely no surprise that Ramsey was heavily involved in the goal. The Welshman has been involved in absolutely everything positive from Arsenal.

That's more like, Arsenal! Iwobi twists and turns, threads it through to Ramsey on the overlap. He does a couple of step-overs, holds off Matic and pulls it back across the face of goal. It takes a couple of touches before landing in the path of Aubameyang and he slots it into an empty net at the far post.

Decent response from Arsenal, I suppose. Ramsey's shot is deflected behind by Matic for a corner. Xhaka takes, Lacazette flicks it on but Young makes the clearance.

Arsenal's half-hearted appeals for a penalty go unheard. Bailly had his arms over Lacazette but it didn't warrant a spot-kick. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Solskjaer's game-plan is paying off. Kolasinac had gone wondering once again and Lukaku, who has been playing on the right, is constantly taking advantage.

A textbook goal on the counter-attack! Arsenal have too many players forward and one pass to Lukaku on the right proves deadly. The Belgian registers his second assist, supplying the killer pass to Lingard who coolly curls the ball past Cech at his far post.

SANCHEZ! It had to be him, didn't it? The script was written. The Chilean races onto a lovely reverse pass from Lukaku, he rounds Cech and lobs it into the goal from an impossible angle.

DANGEROUS! Lingard whips in a beautiful cross, it's just too far ahead of the fully-stretched Lukaku and Maitland-Niles heads it behind for a corner.

SAVE! A lovely one-touch pass from Lacazette releases Iwobi who shoots straight at Romero from a tight angle. He ought to have squared it to a team mate.

Arsenal's back four step up at exactly the right moment to catch Lukaku offside who looked to latch onto Young's inviting pass down the channel.

He's coming off. Sokratis looks devastated, and understandably so. Mustafi takes his place at the heart of defence. Another injury for Emery to consider.

Sokratis walks off the pitch to be treated, Mustafi warms up on the sideline. This would be a real shame if Sokratis cannot carry on: he has provided a real understanding with Koscielny in recent weeks.

INJURY! Sokratis falls awkwardly and stays grounded. He is moving but it's not looking positive for Arsenal. That's all Emery needs.

Defensively, Maitland-Niles has been questionable; but the full-back is providing a threat on the attack. He gets forward in space, cuts it back to Aubameyang in a dangerous central area but he loses control of the ball.
