Newcastle go into today's match very much as the favourites, currently 13th place in the Premier League, while Rochdale languish in 18th place in League One, the third tier.

Also, Newcastle are giving a few of their younger players a chance to star, today with Elias Sorenson, Lewis Cass and Tom Allan all on the bench.

A whopping five changes for Newcastle to the side that last lined out against Leicester in the Premier League. Yedlin, Krafth, Atsu, and a brace of Longstaffs all make the starting XI today.
