Carlo Ancelotti: "I know how Evertonians are desperate to win trophies. I don't know if it is the right time this season but what I can assure is we are doing everything to have a trophy here as soon as possible."

SUPER SON: Son Heung-min has had a hand in 20 goals in 22 FA Cup matches (12 goals, eight assists). That includes an assist from the bench in Spurs' 4-1 triumph at Wycombe in the last round.

Tom Davies: “You can see on the pitch I am starting to find my form and get a real good understanding of the game. I am going to keep doing that [working hard] and it is paying off for me. I am always trying to get better and I want to produce performances of as good a quality as I can. They have been coming along in the past few games and the team is playing better, which helps.”

Robin Olsen: “I knew I would have the competition with Jordan (Pickford) but I have seen if I train well, I will get my chances and if I play well, I will get more chances. Jordan is a really nice guy and to train with a top goalie makes me much better. You should want to improve yourself every day and I feel I am getting better all the time with Everton.”

More from Mourinho on Spurs' various cup hopes: “We have a cup (League Cup final) in the pocket, waiting for us. Normally it’s played now but we play at the end of April. We don’t forget that final but it’s there closed in the pocket and the moment will arrive. The Europa League is a competition where we played already an incredible nine matches and we’re going with everything to the next round to try to progress. And of course, the FA Cup draw is not easy, we play a team with great potential and ambitions in the competition like we have. So let’s go.”

Jose Mourinho on Dele Alli, who is on the bench tonight: “Dele's not injured; he can train with the team. He went through a process of not training and trained with the sports science people and then jumped to team work, which he did on Monday for the first time. Nothing changed, what maybe changed is the speculation around him because in this moment everybody knows that he's a Tottenham player and he doesn't go to any place. So probably the end of the speculation and will be end the questions. He can train and he can try to help the team because this is what we want."
