SPURS SURVIVE THANKS TO PORRO MAGIC
A screamer from Pedro Porro decided a tightly-fought FA Cup third-round clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley, which showcased plenty of attacking intent but only one real moment of quality in front of goal.
Porro fired a thunderbolt past the impressive Arijanet Muric with just 12 minutes left in a fixture that looked destined for a replay after both sides flattered to deceive at times, but when Porro struck a perfect shot from outside the box he was already celebrating before it hit the net.
Vincent Kompany named a rotated team but his side had chances to either steal a win or take it to a replay. Zeki Amdouni missed two gilt-edged chances from close range, including one with the last kick of the game after Muric had flicked on a late corner.
But Tottenham survived and were further buoyed by the return of Ryan Sessegnon from the bench, while Mickey van de Ven was an unused substitute.
Eric Dier was absent from the matchday squad despite injuries forcing Postecoglou to deploy full-backs Ben Davies and Emerson Royal in central defence, as reports link him with a move to Bayern Munich to join up with former team-mate Harry Kane.

FULL TIME: TOTTENHAM 1-0 BURNLEY
And that's all she wrote! Tottenham survive, Burnley get a break after an end-to-end game fixture defined by best bit of quality from either side.

THAT WAS THE CHANCE!
What a finish that would've been! Muric jumped highest for a flick-on that fell to Zeki Amdouni - the only starting Burnley attacker still on the pitch.
He met it just six yards out but curled his first-time shot over, Vicario could've done nothing to stop that if it was on target.

SO SO CLOSE!
Burnley have a corner, but it could've been so much more. Tresor got on the end of a long ball forward and his square pass found Lecroix up from centre-back - but he couldn't convert. This corner will be the last chance though...

BOLD STRATEGY
Ok, it's not THAT last chance saloon just yet! With four minutes to go Muric went up for a Burnley corner, and the visitors just about survived as Bryan Gil harried Josh Cullen to recover the ball with the goalmouth still vacated.

LAST CHANCE SALOON
Burnley have seven minutes of injury time to steal a goal, and Tresor celebrates that by earning a yellow card.

MAKE THEM COUNT
Brownhill received the ball on the edge of the area with just enough space to loose a shot, but it was an awkward height his effort spins well wide. Burnley won't get many more chances though...

SESSEGNON SO CLOSE!
Dane Scarlett's immediately brought something off the bench, as Spurs are running Burnley ragged. But Ryan Sessegnon can't make it a dream return as Scarlett lays off the ball in the area, his shot slides just past Muric's left-hand post.

SPURS TRIPLE CHANGE
Ange Postecoglou has played the rest of his hand, and it's the return of Ryan Sessegnon who gets the biggest cheer. This means Mickey van de Den won't get a runout though.

WHAT A GOAL
The game's restarted but that Porro goal deserves some more love. It barely spun in the air, a shot that was hit and stayed hit to give Porro his first goal of the campaign. His tally deserves to be about five just from that strike alone. Go watch the highlights!

ANOTHER SWITCH
Pierre-Emil Hojberg's introduction preceded Porro's screamer - though it was a case of correlation rather than causation - he'll attempt to help lock down the rest of the game.

GOAL! TOTTENHAM 1-0 BURNLEY (PORRO)
Who wants it? HE WANTS IT!!! What a superb goal by Pedro Porro. Richarlison had just butchered an opportunity at close-range but Porro pounced on the ball as Burnley attemped to counter-attack.
He took one look at goal then lifted a thunderbolt from well outside the area that flew past a motionless Muric and into the net. It's a goal worthy of victory.

WHO WANTS IT?
There's still an unshakeable feeling that both sides have more to give in this one. They've continued to push for a winner and avoid the fate that's already befallen Everton, Crystal Palace, Brentford and Wolves but the lack of quality in the final third persists.
That could be about to change though as Josh Brownhill stands over a potentially dangerous free kick for Burnley.

FULL TIME IN THE CAPITAL
With 20 minutes to go in this one, we finally have a team through to the fourth round! Bobby De Cordova-Reid's goal was enough for Fulham to see off Rotherham but Wolves held onto a draw with Brentford and will welcome them for a replay both manager's would've likely preferred to avoid.

PENALTY?
Brennan Johnson had a penalty shout in the first-half, and he hits the deck again under a challenge from Josh Brownhill - who deputised at centre-back in that long pause between Taylor leaving the field and Al-Dakhil being allowed to replace him.
But the midfielder just reached the ball first, and Kulusevski's tumble under slight contact from Muric is also untouched by VAR, while at the other end of the field Mike Tresor is on for Zaroury as Burnley still look to snatch a winner.
