Bristol Rovers have announced defender Tom Lockyer has signed a new contract with the promotion-chasing Sky Bet League Two outfit.
Lockyer, a Wales Under-21 international, joined Rovers on a scholarship in 2011 after being released by Cardiff.
He has made 40 appearances for the Pirates this season.
The 21-year-old said on www.bristolrovers.co.uk: "In all honesty, although there was a little bit of interest from one or two other clubs, I didn't have any hesitation in signing for Rovers.
"I've been a regular in the side for three seasons now, and I feel that there are exciting times ahead."
Lockyer becomes the second Rovers defender to sign a new deal in two days, following Thursday's announcement about Lee Brown.
