Manchester United are interested in signing Dominik Livakovic regardless of David de Gea's future, and could fight Manchester City for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae. Elsewhere, Newcastle United are working out their budget for Eddie Howe depending on their league position at the end of the season, and Chelsea may give Romelu Lukaku the chance to stay at the club.

'We have to be perfect to beat Man City in the FA Cup final' - Ten Hag

United target new ‘keeper

Amid speculation that goalkeeper David de Gea could leave Manchester United this summer when his current deal runs out, The Mirror reports on a potential replacement for the Spaniard.
The paper writes: “Manchester United want to sign goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic from Dinamo Zagreb and are prepared to pay his £8.9m release clause.
“It comes as David de Gea’s future at United has come under major doubt following on from his calamitous performance in Erik ten Hag’s side’s elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Sevilla last week.
“De Gea was at fault for all three goals that the Spanish side scored which highlighted his vulnerabilities in the position. The goalkeeper enjoyed a much-improved performance in the FA Cup semi-final triumph over Brighton, keeping a clean sheet before United progressed on a penalty shootout.
“The 28-year-old has been the number one shot-stopper at Dinamo for seven seasons and he impressed for Croatia in their run to the semi finals of the World Cup in December.”

Newcastle decide on Howe transfer budget

The Sun believes that Eddie Howe could be given between £100m and £150m to spend in the summer , depending on where Newcastle finish in the Premier League this season.
A higher finish would see him given more money to compete in the Champions League, should they qualify.
Newcastle are currently third in the table, level on points with fourth-placed Manchester United but having played a game more.
“Eddie Howe will have up to £150m to bolster his Newcastle squad this summer,” the report begins.
“The Toon are laying plans to prepare their squad for a Champions League campaign next season and are prepared to spend between £100-150million.
“Newcastle are currently third following their 6-1 hammering of Tottenham on Sunday, six points clear of Spurs in fifth having played a game more.
“The Magpies have been planning for the summer with two separate budgets depending on where they end the season, with £150million the top end.
“Howe is keen to add a defensive midfielder and a left-back ahead of the new campaign.”

City and United to battle for Min-Jae

Manchester City are the latest side to be linked with Napoli centre-back Kim Min-Jae, with local rivals Manchester United also interested in the South Korean international.
The Mail claims that, "Manchester City have joined the group of Premier League clubs that are interested in making a move for Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae in the summer.
"The centre-back has had a fine first season in Italy after being signed as a replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly last summer.
"Min-Jae has been an ever-present in a team that has run away with the Serie A title and even claimed the league's Player of the Month award in September."

Lukaku may have second chance at Chelsea

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku may prefer to stay on at Inter Milan at the end of his loan spell, but there could be a way in which he comes back to Chelsea.
If Mauricio Pochettino is brought in as the new manager, it could see him give the forward a choice to come back to the Premier League.
“Romelu Lukaku will be asked whether or not he wants to try to revive his Chelsea career under proposed permanent head coach Mauricio Pochettino as attention turns to which players could thrive with the Argentine at Stamford Bridge,” reports The Telegraph.
“Lukaku has spent the season on loan at Inter Milan after making it clear that he no longer wanted to play for former head coach Thomas Tuchel, following a fall-out with the German during his first season back at the club.
“Injuries and a traumatic World Cup experience with Belgium have contributed to Lukaku suffering a difficult season at Inter, which has prompted reports that the Italians will not look to keep him for a second season on loan or try to buy him.
“That represents a potential headache for Chelsea, with Lukaku apparently favouring the prospect of remaining at Inter. But the club will hold talks with the player over his options and have not ruled out the possibility of the Belgian being reintegrated into the first-team squad if he is prepared to try to revive his Chelsea career.2
