Paris Saint-Germain made their ninth signing of the summer window with the capture of Goncalo Ramos from Benfica. The Portugal international joins the Ligue 1 club on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy. Ramos netted 27 goals and registered 12 assists in 47 appearances last season. “I’m very proud and happy to join Paris Saint-Germain,” Ramos told the official PSG website.

Neymar and Verratti 'very important players' at PSG, says Hernandez

Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos has joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan until the end of the season.
The Ligue 1 club have agreed a one-year loan and it is widely reported they have an obligation to buy the 22-year-old for €65m plus €15m in add-ons.
Ramos netted 27 goals and registered 12 assists in 47 appearances last season.
He also scored a hat-trick for Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar last year when they defeated Switzerland 6-1 in the round of 16.
Such form attracted the interest of a number of clubs across Europe, but it is PSG who have won the race to sign the Portugal international.
“I’m very proud and happy to join Paris Saint-Germain,” Ramos told the official PSG website.
“PSG are one of the biggest clubs in the world with one of the best squads.”
Ramos is the club’s ninth signing of the summer window and follows in the footsteps of Hugo Ekitike, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Manuel Ugarte, Lee Kang-in, Lucas Hernandez, Xavi Simons and Arnau Tenas.
His transfer will do little to quell the speculation linking Kylian Mbappe with a move from the club. The Frenchman - whose contract expires next summer - was omitted from the squad's pre-season tour to Japan and South Korea.
Fellow striker Neymar is also reportedly unhappy amidst claims he wants a return to Barcelona.
