In the first half, Lo Celso scored his first goal for Tottenham Hotspur since December 2020 when he scored in the Europa League against Royal Antwerp. He needed that.

Romero hasn't really been tested this evening. The Argentine was handed a rare start, but Mura have been so toothless that we haven't seen much of the former Atalanta man.

Tottenham were good in the first half, but Nuno will surely see an opportunity to claim a really emphatic result here to ease the pressure on top of him. Mura have been pretty poor.

HALF TIME: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 NS Mura. Nuno will be fairly pleased with what he has seen from his players in the opening 45 minutes of this match. They are well on top.

This has been a very comfortable first half for Tottenham. They started very well, got the two goals to establish a comfortable lead and have since taken their foot off the gas.

That was a good opportunity for Gil to either get a shot away or roll a pass into Scarlett, but he took a bit too long to make a decision and that allowed Mura to re-organise themselves.
41'
That was a lovely turn by Scarlett to release himself into space, but the Mura defence recovers well to make the slide tackle on the young Tottenham Hotspur forward.

SKIPP... wide of the target! The Spurs midfielder just kept going and going until he reached the end of the opposition penalty area. However, he sticks his low strike wide of the post.
39'
Alli header on target! The cross was played to the back post by Doherty, Alli had to backtrack to get on the end of it, but his header was too tame to beat the keeper at the near post.
38'
Reguilon has been in decent form for Tottenham recently. While the former Real Madrid full back has his flaws as a natural defender, he offers the North London club a real outlet.

Nuno wasn't bluffing either. He rang the changes for this match and Spurs actually look better for it. They are playing with renewed urgency and tempo, although they have slowed since a hectic start.
35'
“We will also bring in some U23s to help us, and we go for the game,” Nuno said at his press conference ahead of this match. “We have to make those decisions. All the squad will go together.”
33'
Steven Bergwijn is still sidelined for Tottenham. The Dutch winger enjoyed a strong start to the season and so there’s a good chance Nuno is missing his influence in the attacking third.
32'
Alli effort is saved! Obradovic has to make the stop to prevent Alli from doubling his tally for the night with a shot into the right-hand corner. The Mura goalkeeper does well, though.
31'
There has, however, been more of a willingness from Alli to get forward so far this evening. This is the sort of thing Tottenham Hotspur fans want to see from him again!
30'
Alli has become a bit of an enigma for Tottenham. The midfielder used to be so dangerous in the final third of the pitch, but Nuno now seems to be using him as a defensive force.

Reguilon shoots over! Space opened up for the Tottenham left back 25 yards out from goal, his strike was a powerful one, but it flashes over the crossbar with the goalkeeper not worried.
