Good news for TAA. Back in the England team and he's just been named PFA Young PLayer of the Year.

Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand: "The aim is to be successful in different pressing lines; the high press but also lower. It's important that we find the right times to do it. [England] like to take control of matches – they like to attack and try to score the next goal at all times. That leaves some space as well. We also want to take charge of the game so it will be a very interesting match."

Southgate: "Denmark were very good against Belgium. They pressed with intensity. They've got good quality players with the ball. We'll have a different sort of test defensively, and we'll come up against some very good defenders as well but there will be a little bit more space because of the way Denmark play."

Before the off-the-pitch storm, England edged to a very narrow 1-0 win in Iceland over the weekend. Phil Foden had a solid bow and remains a starlet with bags of potential. He has a lot of hard work ahead on top of knuckling down and focusing solely on his football now. Here's a pre-scandal piece written post match on how it could be a big season for the 20-year-old, who will have to make do with watching this one from home.

Denmark include a number of familiar names in their line up. Leicester stopper Kasper Schmeichel captains the Danes, while Chelsea's defender Andreas Christensen is in defence. Former Spurs midfielder, Christian Eriksen remains his country's star name with Barcelona's Martin Braithwaite leading the attack.

No real surprises for England. It's a back three (or five depending on how you view wing backs) as expected, with Conor Coady coming into the defence for his senior debut. There's also a bow for Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips. Trent Alexander-Arnold is the third change from the win over Iceland. He features at right wing-back.
