10'
Kane tries to put Rashford through on goal, but Nacho cuts it out.
8'
Saul tries to break into the box but Gomez gives away a cheap ftee kick on the edge of the area. Alonso swings it in but Pickford collects after a couple of rounds of head tennis.
5'
Trippier plays a dangerous throw-in through traffic back to Pickford, who plays an equally dangerous ball along the floor to Stones. No hoofing it tonight.
3'
Thiago sprays a lovely overhead square ball to Marcos Alonso. They are very comfortable in possession - but will Luis Enrique make them a little more direct than they were at the World Cup?
2'
Spain pepper it around their back four and De Gea. Sergio Ramos is being booed very loudly when he touched the ball.

AND WE'RE OFF!
Kane takes the first touch. Spain, confusingly, are wearing white shorts. England are wearing blue.

Gareth Southgate: "Over the summer, you are looking for results. Now it is about developing the team and looking at how we play.
"If we compare now to how we played against Spain two years ago, the detail we go to now is much more advanced."

Wembley isn't just useful for NFL games and Ed Sheeran concerts - it's also something of a fortress for the national team.
Their last defeat in any competition was a 2-1 friendly loss to the Netherlands in March 2016. England are unbeaten in 24 competitive games at The Home Of Football, dating back to a 3-2 defeat to Croatia in November 2007.
Steve McClaren remembers that one well.

England and Spain last met in November 2016, in a friendly at Wembley. The visitors snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat with 89th and 90th-minite strikes from Iago Aspas and Isco.
It's about 15/1 to finish with the same result tonight.
19.10
Harry Kane will shine brighter than usual tonight in a special pair of golden boots, designed to celebrate his ostentatiousness. And his World Cup Golden Boot.

You are all very aware of what the UEFA Nations League is and how it works, but for the sake of repetition: it is a new fangled tournament that involves all 55 UEFA teams, who have been divided by ranking into four leagues. Those four leagues each contain four groups, each consisting of three-to-four teams.
The "league stage" of the competition, where teams play their fellow group members home and away, last from now until November. (England share their group with Spain and Croatia.)
The 'finals' phase will go down next summer, tournament style. The competition will seed teams for Euro 2020 qualification and will award special berths in the play-offs which will decide four of the twenty-four final tournament slots.
Crystal clear, right?

It looks to be a 3-1-4-2 for Gareth Southgate's side in this World Cup homecoming tie. Much will be expected of Luke Shaw at left wing-back, but his fitness has certainly improved in recent weeks.
Enrique appears to be fielding a 4-3-3, with Isco, Rodrigo and Aspas in the front line.
When Spain drew with England at Wembley in their last meeting, it was Aspas and Isco who got on the scoresheet in the 2-2 draw.
18.49
And here's how Luis Enrique's first Spain starting XI will look:
De Gea, Carvajal, Ramos, Nacho, Alonso, Busquets, Saul, Thiago, Isco, Aspas, Rodrigo.
18.48
The England teamsheet is in - there are starts for Luke Shaw and Joe Gomez, with Marcus Rashfor dplaying off of Harry Kane.
