    THE STAGE IS SET
The first Stamford Bridge sell-out and it feels like Chelsea's entire season has been leading up to this moment. The magnitude of the occasion has not been lost on the players. Captain Niamh Charles has called this "the biggest match they will play in their careers." Unless they get through to the final in Bilbao. Emma Hayes said her women will have to play "the perfect game."
The players are out, the anthem is playing all around the stadium. The bookies have Barcelona as favourites to go through but Chelsea have upset the odds before, and they're keen to do it again.

    TEAM NEWS
Just the one change to last weekend’s teams that faced each other. For Chelsea Maya Ramirez, such a lively, vibrant force last weekend is unavailable, so Catarina Macario comes into the side as a like-for-like replacement.
Emma Hayes has switched from a back three to a defensive line of four, comprised of Ashley Lawrence, Jess Carter, Kadeisha Buchanan and captain Niamh Charles.
Jonatan Giráldez for his part has benched Mariona Caldentey and brought in England full-back Lucy Bronze for what could be one of the Lioness’ last games in the red and blue. She’s out of contract in the summer.

    GOOD EVENING
Welcome to live updates from the second leg of the Women’s Champions League semi-final clash as Emma Hayes’ Chelsea host Barcelona at a sold out Stamford Bridge. Having completely shut out Barca last Saturday in Spain, the West Londoners will be hoping to do the same at their place. If they can manage to hang on to - or improve upon - their slender advantage, they will be back in the WCL final for the first time since 2021.
There are few bigger nights of football than the one we have in store.
    Kick-off is at 5.30pm BST.
