BEATEN 4-0 BY JAPAN TWO WEEKS AGO
Spain are into the final! What a finish that was! The Sweden players are devastated, the Spain players elated, and they meet on the ground, hugging and consoling before the celebrations begin in earnest. Spain will play England or Australia at Stadium Australia on Sunday!

FULL TIME: Spain 2-1 Sweden

WE'RE INTO ADDED TIME IN ADDED TIME
And Sweden attack down the right, Hertig lumping a cross into the middle. But Coll comes confidently and falls onto the ball. That will surely be it!

I FEEL FOR MUSOVIC
Who's a decent keeper. But, though you've got to credit Carmona for testing her - she's been the one on her team looking to shoot most often - the ball didn't have the pace to beat her, except it did.

PHEW!
This is like the 1979 FA Cup final, deathly boring then suddenly astounding.

WE'LL HAVE SEVEN ADDED MINUTES
Can Sweden save themselves?

OH MY COMPLETE AND UTTER DAYS! GOAL! Spain 2-1 Sweden (Carmona) Abelleira takes the corner short and Carmona, the skipper, who's been her sides most enterprising player, tries an outswinging chip that Musovic should save, the keeper can only impart fingertips to ball, which clips the underside of the bar and bounces down over the line! WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON?! FOOTBALL IS GOING ON!

SPAIN WIN A CORNER DOWN THE LEFT...

GOAL! Spain 1-1 Sweden (Blomqvist) Eighty minutes without a goal, now two in eight, and this time it's a Sweden sub who makes it happen! A cross into the box is shouldered down by Hurtig, just on off the bench herself, and 15 yards out, Blomqvist adjusts feet beautifully to address a bouncing ball, opening body and punching a glorious finish into the far side-netting! Suddenly, we got ourselves a football match!

SPAIN DISAPPEAR TIME
There can be no one worse against who to chase a game.

GOAL! Spain 1-0 Sweden (Paralluelo) OUT OF NOTHING! Paralluelo has made a difference with her psce and touch and when Hermoso curves in another decent cross, Eriksson takes it away from Navarro but the ball drops for Salma, whose first-time finish, expertly slotted right-footed from 12 yards and on the backpeddle, sees Spain hit the front! 19 years old, what a moment, and doesn't she enjoy it!

AND BOTH OF THOSE PLAYERS ARE NOW REMOVED
Kaneryd and Blackstenius off, Schough and Blomqvist on.

HELLO!
Sweden make ground down the left and Kaneryd slings over a decent cross ... that's just too high for Blackstenius.

SPAIN ARE IN THE ASCENDANCY AGAIN
And when Hermoso finds a clever reverse-pass down the side of the Sweden box, Salam knocks out to Battle, whose cross eludes Bonmati before Caldentey, unable to sort her feet, sends it out of the box and not even out for a throw.

ANOTHER CHANGE FOR SPAIN
Navarro replaces Redondo.

BUT WHAT'S THIS!
Spain feed Hermoso down the left, she arcs over a terrific cross, and though Redondo can't reach it on the slide, Salma does brilliantly to stretch a long leg around the ball and guide it back into the middle where, from on her arse on the ground, Reodndo can only shin wide of the near post. That was the clearest sight of goal this half.

THIS IS, I'M AFRAID, NOW A POOR GAME
The sides are cancelling each other out, and neither looks likely to fashion a goal; it feels like it'll take a bad mistake to break the deadlock.
