Hello and welcome to tonight's coverage of the World Cup qualifier between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Ireland.

Ulan Konysbayev trips McGeady on the left wing, and another chance for Ireland from a set-piece.

Nuserbayev leaves a boot in on O'Shea, and gets a yellow card.

McGeady does brilliantly to get in a cross from the left, which Keane heads wide after an unseen shove from Rozhkov.

Interestingly, neither St Ledger nor O'Dea went up for that free-kick.

Whelan sends it to Cox, who puts the ball in towards O'Shea at the far post but it is cleared.

Walters win a free-kick on the left, 35 yards out on the left.

Ward steers a header back to Westwood, but there is little doubt that Kazakhstan are playing the better football now after a nervy start.

Free-kick to Kazakhstan, after a foul by Whelan on the last defender.

Sean St Ledger climbs all over Ostapenko 40 yards out. Ostapenko's header from Shmidtgal's free-kick loops up and is caught by Westwood.

Quick passing between Cox and Walters down the left channel, but the Nottingham Forest player can only shoot into the side netting.

Shmidtgal puts in a ball from a free-kick that O'Shea clears with a firm header.

Clever touch from Keane to flick the ball up and past Nurdauletov, but the evntual shot is awful.

Ward then floats up a long cross from the left towards Walters, which is easily caught by Kazakhstan goalkeeper Sidelnikov.

More long ball stuff to Walters, and the ball drops for McGeady to try two efforts which both hit a Kazakhstan player.

Nuserbayev tries a reverse pass to Ostapenko which is just cleared by an Ireland boot.

Shmidtgal gets the ball down the left and arrows in a lovely ball that is crying out for a header but no Kazakhstan attacker is there in the box.

Rozhkov tries a long ball but Darren O'Dea is able to head back to Kieren Westwood.

Free-kick to Ireland that is wasted by McGeady and Glenn Whelan, who dinks the ball up far to close to Sidelnikov.

Tanat Nusrbayev drives through the centre but his ball into he right channel just evades left-back Aleksandr Kirov.

McGeady finds space down the left and crosses, but Rozhkov heads away under pressure from Walters.
