Decent spell of possession for Montenegro as Jovetic finally gets on the ball. Volkov claims he is pushed over by Smalling at the edge of the box, but the Swedish ref Jonas Eriksson waves the appeal away.

The home fans are hoping to spur their heroes back into the game. Branko Brnovic said England were nervous, but it's Montenegro who have made a stuttering start to this one.

This is a good start from England - though Vucinic has shown a couple of glimpses of his dribbling ability coming inside from the Montenegro right.

For all the Montenegrins are being painted as borderline psychopaths, they have just applauded the English anthem. Or maybe that actually proves it...
